    Thank you, Carol, for sharing this video with us. I don't know, but I am going to assume that my mother learned this technique from you several years ago. I have a large tile she painted of a very similar scene. I absolutely love it and it is one of my favorite pieces that she has done and given to me. I showed the tile to a couple of my students and they want to try this painting technique . Your instructions are very clear and concise and this video will be a great teaching aid for the class. I'll gladly share our results with you. Mt Airy NC is home to the largest open face granite quarry in the world (also happens to be directly across the street from my home) and so we have numerous granite buildings and other structures in the area to use as inspiration. As it happens, the walls to my basement studio are also made of solid granite block, as are many of the house foundations in the area. Thanks again, I can't wait to begin this class.

    can you please tell me what paints do u use and with what do you mix this paint please reply thank you

      This is powder paint especially for china, porcelain and ceramic which has to be fired in a kiln up to 800oC. The paint is mixed with a medium which dries over a period of approx an hour before being put into the kiln.
