For me..Kanami Tōno, lead guitarist and composer, is the most impressive musician of the 21st Century. Same here mate, I drummed and crewed for a living throughout the 80's and 90's here in Australia, I got tired of the toxic ego's, corporate BS and arrogance. Had pretty much fck all to do with music until I tumbled onto B-M, Absolutely relit my musical pilot light and I'm even drumming again. I could never display enough thanks and gratitude to these amazing women. Cheers from Oz 👍🍻

I'm 72 also and I feel that way about Band Maid too. Best rock band on the planet. You've only touched your fingertip in the surface of the water. Keep going and you'll find out. You really need to watch HATE? live from Yokahama Arena 2023 to really see how crazy Band Maid can get. I know for a fact you'll really enjoy it. Four of the five members of Lovebites were at that concert.

Welcome to Band-Maid! The best hard rock band I have heard in my 58 years on this planet. They don't stick to any one genre and often mix genres in songs. They are extremely diverse and have an extensive back catalogue featuring Punk, Pop-Punk, Hard-Rock, Classic Rock, Metal, Prog, Blues, Jazz, Groove, Rap etc. From face melting 220 bpm punk-prog to ballads, instrumentals to acoustics they do it all. They can make you headbang, they can make you pogo, they can make you cry like a baby. They are also five of the nicest people in music, without a shred of ego. They are funny and fun and world class musicians to boot. They are currently into their 11th year with the original line up.
Btw, Miku the rhythm guitarist (red rose) formed the band. She had the idea of Band-Maid after working as a maid in Japanese maid cafe's. Her idea is a concept called "The Gap" - that is what you see (cute maids) is NOT what you get (Hard Rock/Punk/Metal). They take the maid café concept literally. They call their concerts "servings" and their fans "Masters and Princesses". Oh, and Miku is an 810 year old small pigeon. Welcome to the pigeon hole Po!

Introducing The Band... (left to right on the stage)
Misa [mee-sah] (Barefoot Assassin) - Bass Guitar
Miku [mee-kuu] (Small Pigeon) - Rhythm Guitar, Vocals, Lyricist, Band Founder
    Akane [aah-kah-neh] (Gorilla) - Drums
Saiki [sigh-kee] (Sai-Chan or The Queen) - Lead Vocals
Kanami [kah-nah-mee] (Mincho 0r The Princess) - Lead Guitar, Songwriter
The band calls the contrast between their cutesy maid costumes and their hard rock sound "the gap". They enjoy seeing the confused looks on people's faces when they walk on stage and the reaction when they start playing with their hard rock sound. They call their fans Masters and Princesses, which comes from the maid cafe that band founder Miku Kobato worked in when she envisioned a rock and roll group with the maid cafe image and aesthetic. Us fans mainly refer to ourselves as Maidiacs.
My opinion is that Band-Maid are one of the best bands to have formed in the past 10 years, and are currently one of the best rock and roll bands on the planet. They play many genres and styles including ballads, power ballads, pop, rock, progressive rock, hard rock, punk, metal, nu metal, and everything before in-between and beyond. They also have several great instrumental songs that they use live to give their lead singer Saiki a break.
I don't know what musical style that you prefer but you can't go wrong by listening to Moratorium, No God, Rinne, Onset, From Now On, Without Holding Back, About Us, Play, Why Why Why, and Don't You Tell Me. They have a catalog of over one hundred great songs. If you are not fond of one then choose another because it will be different than the one before it and the next one to follow. Have fun with it!

You’ll notice a theme in your Band Maid comments. A bunch of old dudes, like me, who’ve listened to rock and metal since the 70’s, or earlier, and who credit Band Maid with rejuvenating their love of rock music. So many of us with the same experience! Not only that but many of us also consider them to be among the elites in rock history because of their skill, songwriting, and utter lack of any clunkers in over 10 years of being a band.
Their live shows are long, and incredibly entertaining. They love their fans as much as we love them, and they express that appreciation in song from time to time. Watch “About Us” live, with the captions on… it was a gift to their fans during the dark days of the lockdowns. It’s also a departure from their usual hard rock/metal sound, though still full of interesting instrumentation.
Other recommendations from their channel: “Hate?” live, “From Now On” mv, “Different” mv, and “Manners/Black Hole” live.

Band Maid's lyrics are normally uplifting, it's part of Miku's DNA,, determined, overcoming obstacles, striving to improve, looking forward to good things in the future. On the Theatrics: The founder of the band (Miku, rhythm guitar, backup vocals) worked in a Maid Cafe, where all the servers dress as maids. They're a thing in japan. She thought it would be fun to take that esthetic and mix it with Hard Rock music. Some members of the band are bigger fans of the esthetic than others, but they've all come to embrace the look to some extent.
The idea is something Miku calls "the gap" and it's meant to surprise people viewing the band. It definitely catches people off guard. They also pull a lot more from the cafe's, they call their concerts "okyuiji's" which means "servings" they refer to their fans as "Masters and Princesses" which is what they refer to guests in the cafe's as (we typically refer to ourselves as Maidiacs). There are breaks during the show where Miku entertains the crowd with a bit of a call and response called "omajinai time" which is also a thing in the cafe's where they cast spells on the food to make it taste better (Japan is a crazy place)

Lovebites appeals to Iron Maiden-esque heavy metal driving rock.
Band Maid is hard rock fusion, with no fear in releasing their own versions of punk, pop, alternative and progressive rock songs. Like “Puzzle.”
You can’t go wrong pursuing both avenues because they both lead to rock! 🤘🏽
🤣 That’s the “Gap,” the presentation of outfits contrasted with the face melting. As you get to know them, you’ll find the maid cafe attitude includes other aspects: live concerts are called “okiyujis,” or “servings.” They introduce a show with “Welcome home masters and princesses,” their male and female fans.
But more sincerely, they come at you without ego, with a smile and gratitude for your attention.
I’m 57 and grew up on Speedwagon to Scorpions. The Maids have completely resurrected my passion for music again.
I highly, most sincerely recommend their most recent live performance of “Don’t you tell ME” from Yokohama Arena. (The Lovebites ladies were in the audience that night)
Just a darn good rock song with a killer hook and a surprise bass/guitar dueling conversation. Listen to the crowd participation. Just to know what’s expected of you when you see them live someday

I, like most others, would recommend "Hate" official live to show each individual's talent - however, if you do, keep an ear open for the drummer while the lead and bassist shine. I would like a dollar for every time she does a double kick.

And a thing about the maid outfits, Kuztum: as Fans and Maidiacs know, Miku -- the 2nd guitarist, lyricist, founder and who worked at a maid cafe -- wanted to show that everyday working "Kawaii" girls dressed as maids in high heels while having fun and smiling could rock as hard as any guy band sweating it up in their hip, poor tortured artists "outfits"... and by showing that contrast (the Gap), it would generate interest, which it so successfully has done! It also represents Woman Power (Equality), which is an important theme with the Maids.
Now they show up as Maids for all band business and interviews, etc. and have created a long-lasting, unmistakable, visual band brand. Very cleaver, Miku. Your diabolical plan for world domination is working, Po! Of course, none of this would work if their music and stage performance wasn't at such a remarkably high level. Band-Maid is considered by many of their fans and Maidiacs to be the best hard rock band in the world - maid outfits and all!

It's funny that you think of them as "darker" than Lovebites, as Band Maid also tends to be very aspirational and inspirational in their lyrics... You just happen to hit on one of the few darker themed ones... and of course my recommendation for what to listen to next is going to be "Hate?" (official live video) which is a song about a break up, and not exactly on the positive side either... it just kicks a lot of ass and is more on the metal side for them.
Band Maid is a hard rock band at it's core, that dabbles in about every single adjacent category of music to Hard Rock. I think they usually sound like hard rock, but you can hear the punk, pop, metal, blues, prog influences song to song...

    • @nomennescio4604
      @nomennescio4604 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

They ARE darker than Lovebites. Kobato's Band-Maid lyrics is now large enough to form an "oeuvre" and at least one more ambitious Japanese music journalist wrote a major piece on "The Band-Maid Theory of Love", which is largely Kobato's own, and upon analysis it is frankly bleak. Love is a theme with Band-Maid, it is possibly the most important thing in the world - it is just that Kobato considers it impossible. "Love is for everyone, but trust if for the few" ("No God").
"Alone" is about being stuck in an absolutely toxic relationship. "Can't Live Without You" is essentially screaming at someone to love you and just let the world burn. "Anemone" is farewell to someone close now dead. "Puzzle" is about being "the other woman". Etc.
Kobato was a bit shocked when K-On groups in Japanese schools started making copy-bands and performing Band-Maid songs, because the Band-Maid themes are pretty bleak, nit suitable for kids.
There has also been a discussion if Kobato writes her life into her lyrics. Now she absolutely denies this. However she cannot deny writing from a place of shared human experience. And Kobato has hinted that IF she wrote her actual experiences, things might get a damn sight darker.

Part of the reason for the colored flowers is "Red Oni/Blue Oni". You might find it's explanation over at TV Tropes enlightening.
And Band-Maid is more of a "Hard Rock" band than a Metal band. However they incorporate so many other genres of music into their music that they have defined their sound into their own genre, which many of us call Band-Maid Genre. As in we can identify a Band-Maid song almost immediately from it's tonal qualities.

@@DannyLeeOGT I am glad to offer what little I can. Here is the rest of that particular file for you.
Band Maid was started in 2013 by Miku Kobato. At the time she had just left the Idol Group, Lil Cumin and she didn't like the type of music she had been performing. She approached her management agency with the idea of making an actual band playing rock music but dressed as maids. She had worked in a Maid Cafe and thought the image of maids playing rockin music would create what she called "The Gap" between what you see and what you hear. The Management company was like Ok, go ahead.
Miku then looked around and found Kanami a singer/songwriter who was posting her own videos on the internet. Miku had her agency contact her and Kanami thought the idea was cool and agreed to join. Miku then asked if Kanami knew a drummer who might be interested. Kanami had worked with Akane in the past and there is 2 versions of this, the first is, Kanami literally walked over to Akane's apartment and asked her, the second is Kanami called Akane and asked her. (Akane has said in 2 different interviews that 1: Kanami called her and asked if she could come over and 2: in a second interview Kanami just came over) Akane was actually hesitant as she had worked in an "All Girl Group" before and didn't enjoy it as it wasn't the type of music she wanted to play. After hearing a Demo, Akane was like ok, but was still slightly hesitant because of the "Maid Outfits", but she agreed to give it a try. Akane was asked if she knew a bass player and she had gone to Tokyo School of Music with MISA and had worked a couple of jobs with her. So Misa was contacted and after she heard a demo she was like I like the music, but she also was hesitant about the "Maid Outfits", but she relented and joined in as she really wanted to play the kind of music she heard in the demo. The 3 of them then "Auditioned" for the record company and passed the audition.
Now we have the "Core" members. The 4 members worked out some songs provided for them by the record company, and a setlist and they had performed 3 times with just Miku on main vocals. Miku after those performances felt that her voice wasn't powerful enough to really perform the songs she wanted. So she approached her management company again and asked if they had any singers who weren't in other projects. They then auditioned several singers. Miku heard Saiki rehearsing in a room across the hall and asked if she could be auditioned, the record company then had Saiki audition.
Saiki was signed to the same management company and had done some work as a backup singer and dancer and was asked if she would be interested in auditioning for this new group which currently had 4 members and she would be the fifth. She had been a member of a group with 8 other people as a backup singer and dancer, and HATED it. So she listened to the demo and thought "Cool" because she liked the music.
Now we come to the tricky part. Miku KNEW that if Saiki was told about the "Maid Outfits" she would say NO WAY!, so they didn't tell her. They told her they would have "Cool/cute Clothes"(I've read it translated either way), and she never met Miku until a few days before they had a contracted performance. She wasn't told about the "Maid Outfits" until the day before the performance, and she had considered backing out, but she had signed the contract. (Saiki also had NEVER met Miku until then as well)
So the Ladies, went and did the performance and Saiki really, REALLY liked the crowds reaction and the music they were performing. She DIDN'T like the apron she wore so it got ditched after the first performance.
And you now have the beginnings of the BEST LIVE HARD ROCK BAND in the WORLD!
      ALL HAIL BAND MAID!!!!!
Now that we have the Full band, it was felt that there needed to be a second guitar. Saiki was like, "Not Me, No Way." So Miku said, "I'll do it.", at first that was literally all she did, was hold the guitar and mime playing it, until Akane said, if you are going to hold it, you NEED to learn to play it. And Miku said, "Ok.", and Kanami started to teach Miku how to play. The Ladies released their first album in 2014 "Maid in Japan" which failed to chart, but later after "Thrill" it was reissued and charted to #26 in Japan.

Then in 2015 they released "New Beginning"
On New Beginning was the song that changed Band Maid's entire existence. "Thrill"...
The band was getting ready to release their first music video and the choice was between "Love, Passion, Matador" and "Thrill" and the ladies chose Thrill. (Little known fact, Miku helped with the lyrics on Thrill but did not get credited)
This became the seminal moment of Band Maid. Because their second album charted at #64, the record company was seriously considering disbanding the Ladies and switching them to other projects. (In fact they had Kanami and Akane work with Mochi to Cheese thinking that when Band Maid cratered they could use them in another band. MISA had also just started working with Mochi to Cheese as well). However about 6 months after the video's release, a Facebook page "JRock Radio" posted the video to their timeline. And the video went viral. Having over a million views in just a few short weeks. The Ladies Twitter page got so many hits they thought their page had been hacked. Their TH-cam channel also started getting more and more subscribers and views to Thrill.
Now the ladies knew where their fans wanted them to go. Harder Rock, less pop. And history was Maid.
I have other files about the Ladies, some on particular songs, some on individual members. As you go through their discography you may ask questions, if I have something that may be pertinent to what you ask I would be more than happy to post up what I know for yours and other's eddification.

Welcome, Kuztum. You are embarking on (along with many others - nearly 200 million YT views plus over 40 million reactor plays!) an awesome, progressive, hard-rock journey with 5 incredible women. Here's my intro blurb for those who may be new to Band-Maid:

BAND-MAID’s songs and sound beat with the heart and soul of all rockers. But you’ll also hear heavy influences of Prog, Punk, Metal and Pop, with nice touches of Blues, Jazz, Funk and Grunge. Sometimes they use multiple genres within the same song. Their Composition, Execution, Joy of Playing, Consistency (130+ songs), Uniqueness, Charisma, Charm and, oh yeah, Cuteness factor, position them as becoming the hard rock Beatles of our time! In other words, they’re destined for mega-stardom.
Each member's personalities are super interesting and their musicianship among the best. Their writing, arrangements and overall sound, especially guitar tones and drums, are kick-ass! Having seen them LIVE, I can honestly say their performance, sound, stage appearance, and band synergy is off-the-rails spectacular!
Band-Maid is the only band in decades where I love nearly EVERY song they’ve done. I have over 70 favorites! "Thrill" (2014) is a great place to start: th-cam.com/video/Uds7g3M-4lQ/w-d-xo.html Their songs from albums Unleash, Unseen World, Conqueror, World Domination, Just Bring It, Brand New Maid, and New Beginning drive even more - Shambles, Warning, No God, Different, Black Hole, Rinne, Blooming, Moratorium, Domination, Clang, Dice, Spirit, Don’t You Tell Me, Turn Me On, Fate, Play, Hide-And-Seek, Secret My Lips, Puzzle, Choose Me, I Can’t Live Without You, and on and on.
But don’t miss out on their powerful, beautifully written, mid-tempo songs like Daydreaming, Bestie, About Us, Memorable, Anemone, Endless Story, PAGE, At The Drop Of A Hat, Mirage and Smile... or more punky like After Life, Don’t Let Me Down and Screaming… or funky like Bubble… or bluesy like Manners and The Dragon Cries… or poppy like Start Over… or a bit jazzy like Wonderland… or progressive like No God, Giovanni, and Black Hole… or cultural like the Band-Maiko series… or instrumentals like From Now On, Don’t Be Long, Onset, Without Holding Back and Going Nuts… or their many acoustic versions like Catharsis and Sayonakidori... and last but not least, their Anime hits (AniMaid) like Sense, Glory and Unleash!!!!! (from their own Anime MV (series?)): th-cam.com/video/7LB_EPS48HE/w-d-xo.html)
And many songs are represented with over 50 well produced music videos. th-cam.com/users/BANDMAID
Most performances should be experienced from their LIVE audience & online OKYUJI concerts:

 “P and D⁴” Photo Collage videos at www.youtube.com/@PinDakaPanic810
And some of the better quality fan videos are excellent. Here’s two of what it’s like to see Band-Maid LIVE at an intimate venue:

If you like Band-Maid, make sure to support them by purchasing some concert tickets, CD, DVD/BD & Merch, etc. bandmaid.tokyo
Like most Band-Maid songs, I like them from the get-go but really start to appreciate them after more hearings and seeing their LIVE videos. I'll go back and see an older song like YOLO, Order, Shake That, Freezer, Before Yesterday, Real Existence, Non Fiction Days and Alone, etc. and realize there's no band that can consistently construct and play like Band-Maid.

    Band-Maid Members:
Saiki Atsumi (Sy-i-Key or Psyche) “StarQueen" - Lead vocals, arrangements and melodies. At 30 and the youngest, “Sensei” (Teacher) as band members call her, has the last word on many musical decisions. High-heels or sneakers, Sai-chan’s smile melts away her sometimes perceived, coldish persona. Saiki’s powerhouse performances, charisma, and voice focus the experience that’s driven her to the top echelon of hard rock frontwomen... or frontmen!
Miku Kobato (Me-Ku) "Small Pigeon" - Rhythm guitar, vocals, lyricist, 32 years old. “Koba”, as Saiki calls her, is the Band founder and a firecracker MC & PR SpokesPigeon, po! Her “Magic Spell Time” charm and energy ignite the room. Kuruppo! No, no, no… KURUPPO!!
Kanami Tono (Ka-Na-Me) “Princess” - Lead guitar, keyboards, 32 years old, is a prolific writer of most Band-Maid material. Kanami (translates “Song Wave”) is a possessed riff-slayer who’s so damn adorable it hurts. The only thing you want from Mincho is more!
Akane Hirose (A-Ka-Nay) "Gorilla" - Drums, 33 years old, band energizer & co-clown with MISA. Achi’s talents include massive consumption of noodles and bananas, of course, (even during performance!) while revolutionizing rock drumming with relentless drive, dynamics and the kick. This “DrumZilla” is the Party!
MISA (Me-Sa) "Barefoot Assassin" - Bass, 31 years old. An alluring free spirit driving her 5-string to rapturous low-ends while pulling off surprising counter leads with Kanami, off-stage MISA is the band’s goofball ballerina. Sometimes seen as the Mysterious One because she lets her instrument do the talking, the Assassin literally kills it… every note... uniting Band-Maid’s world-class rhythm section. A slug of JB, a slight grin, and let the slappin’ begin… MISA! MISA! MISA!
Maidiacs (Maid-e-acts) - Band-Maid’s crazed yet supportive, knowledgeable and loyal Super Fans.
    [BAND-MAID NEWS]
 BAND-MAID PRIME - Special Video Distribution Website. Along with nearly 50 great play-through’s by each member, concerts and skits, Band-Maid management / label(s) have included the Acoustic Christmas 2021, ZEPP 2018 and Shinkiba Studio Coast 2017 concerts! Fans can now see more than 50 great live performances with awesome audio, etc. like Fate, I Can't Live Without You and the great MISA / Kanami exchange in Don't You Tell Me. Those concerts are two of the best produced & performed concerts ever recorded, IMO. bandmaidprime.tokyo
 The Maids SOLD OUT 2023 US & Mexico tour wrapped up and was a fantastic success. And so many great live fancams to watch! Their playing and antics were as fresh and fun to experience from first show to last. BRAVO Band-Maid!!!!! THE best Hard Rock band on Earth. Treat yourself to one of the very best call and response sections ever with their song 'HATE?'. Enjoyed your appreciation of their talents and the emotion they put into their performances. The red and blue flowers are part of the original aesthetic of the band's founder, Miku, the rhythm guitarist, who was following the principles of Sumi-e Japanese ink painting, where everything should be black and white (as all their original maid outfits were at the start) but a small touch of colour is allowed.

Nice reaction Kuztumcreator! I have subscribed as a result. Band Maid has so many more great pieces, but they are best when you view their live performances. I would suggest "Domination," "Freedom," "Manners and Black Hole," (a 2 for one deal). "Hate" from their concert from Tokyo last November, "Endless Story" from that same concert, and "Choose Me" a sad song best listened to in the accoustic version in concert. I too am 72 and have seen the great bands and like him have spent so long wishing that the music would somehow return to what I knew and loved. Boy did I get my wish! Band Maid is like no other and their fans worldwide absolutely love them. I was lucky to see them in concert this last summer and it was so incredible and like my first experience of seeing Led Zeppelin. I was absolutely blown away! For a second act, you should go back to the beginning. When five hard working young ladies were trying to make a name for themselves in the Japanese music scene. After 2 years of doing small clubs and self promotion, management gave notice that they would have one more kick at the can to get bigger or they would be disbanded. Instead of making a music video that was safer, they decided they were going to stick to their beliefs and released Thrill instead. The song was picked up by a Facebook radio station and before you knew it, 2 million TH-cam views in a week. They haven't looked back since and we Madiacs are so happy for them. I would recommend Thrill as a second reaction, after that you will have a better understanding of how far they have come as musicians. Thanks for the reaction! Cheers!

There's also a soft acoustic version of this song. But this isn't even their best LIVE version of this song. A lot of those videos were taken off of TH-cam ahead of a DVD release. Now they can only be found on Bilibili.

Yes, Band-Maid does DARK very well, but they also do light and uplifting. Most of their songs have a very positive vibe.
Positive vibe songs: "Domination", "Freedom", "Play", "No God", "Smile", Wonderland", "About Us", "Page", "Endless Story"
Rockers: "Moratorium", "Cross", "Rinne", "YOLO", "Blooming", "Don't You Tell ME", "HATE?"
    They keep writing more!
If given a choice, always play the live version; Band-Maid is one of the tightest live bands you'll ever see. I saw them live twice last Spring, and I cannot recommend them enough.

There is about 30 all female bands from Japan and i think the maid costumes make them stick out . Band-Maid will be playing with another all female band "The Warning " in June ! They are three sisters from Mexico that are pretty good as well ! Check out "Sick" MV they sing in English =) Band-Maid have lots of songs that sound like Classic Hard Rock ! Try "HATE?" Offical Live ! Most of Band-Maids songs are positive and uplifting except for "Hate?"

I don't know what to suggest, they are different and do whatever they like. You can't form any idea about this band based on a handful songs. You'll have to go through dozens and dozens of their songs from different phases and you will be surprised how different each song sounds.
This song I think is one of their old school heavy rock/metal songs but still have punk and rap elements.

New subscriber and loved the presentation. You got the triple H look down pat. Obviously you know who I'm talking about. I hope you do, the guy from wrestling. My favorite band o come along in decades. Japan is just a wealth of music. For those of us who grew up with the music of the 60s 70s and 80s. What I consider to be the cream of the crop. When it comes to Rock hard Rock in classic rock. Check out Nemophilia from Japan as well. They are a little more metal. And I go for more of the melodic stuff. But they are extremely talented as well. If you do check them out. Check out their 3 4 or 5 classic rock covers first. Before you delve into their originals. And then VOB from Indonesia. Three tiny hijab wearing Muslim women. That put a new spin on rock funk. Keep up the good work

Who cares what they are wearing or how they are dressed. If the music is good and you like it, that is all that matters. Kiss dressed up at one time. Alice Cooper dressed up. I am sure there are others that did the same but does it really matter. The music is what matters to me.
From the first song I heard from this band, I was hooked. And it kept getting better and better the deeper I went down the pigeon hole. We say pigeon hole as the rhythm guitarist Miku is known as the small pigeon. She is the founder of the band and did not even know how to play guitar at the time.

    • @DannyLeeOGT
      @DannyLeeOGT  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

Hello my friend, and that's cool. Their name's pigeon, though. I am the founder, Danny Lee OGT. Thank you for watching. First of all, I was a little well under the weather this morning or turned into morning. I mean, I was working doing your own, but I just felt bad. I was tired, ready to go to bed. We had no idea how popular this band was. It was just a request we got from the. it was even the warning or it was LoveBites. So I told my partner, OGL, just to go ahead and react. I was there. I was the one switching all the scenes and stuff. And as soon as it started, I wished I had been reacting. But I'm going to do the next song Hate. I've been going through the comments here because my partner, he works with 3rd shift job as well and I'm disabled, so I stay at home.
My comment to him exactly was this. man, why do you see females dressed up like maids. So funny. He was a big fan of Judas Priest so I said, man, didn't Judith's priest dress up as women? And they were women, but they were men, and they were women. I mean, what the hell were they? LOL, it was all in good fun. I liked Judas priest. But I think he, um, understood the reference. So he is from the north, and I'm from the south. He was triple introverted, and I am triple extroverted. He has never done any kind of substance illegally. I would have a hard time, or an easier time, giving you the list of what hadn't done. But I did go to jail in 2015 for a Meth lab. I got out of jail a year later. Did my probation gotten a bad wreck? Hurt myself even worse. I already had bad lungs, so terminal disease. And this reclaimed me in the hospital for about 3 1/2 months. That's why I can't talk good. But I react anyway not letting the disability stop me. So yeah, he's a little more analytical than me, sir. He didn't really mean nothing by it. So we're gonna see how I do. Then we react together most of the time, but we also do reaction solo. Kinda changes things up. I am a tool fan. I identify as an obsessed tool fan who reacts to music objectively. LOL, can't wait.

@@DannyLeeOGT I didn't mean it as a negative comment. I may have come across a little harsher than I meant to. All is good and you are a great reactor. Sorry about any negativity that came through. Most of the time it is hard to judge emotion in a text message. Great job and I look forward to more of your reactions.
I am also disabled and retired for a couple years so I just roam the internet looking for reactions and if I see anyone complain about a band I like I have to comment. Do not worry, all is good. Looking forward to the next reaction and yes, Tool is a great band.

@@ScottT248 There are two of us lol I didn't take your comment as negative. Yeah, I just looked, man, I just said all that just to confuse you. I guess lol Yeah, I don't know why I told you all that. Yeah, there are two of us and sometimes he reacts. Sometimes I do But most of the time, if it's a new band, we react together. I just worked the controls while he reacted because I was sick. I didn't feel real good. So I actually haven't been on camera yet with Band Maid. So if you have not looked at any of our other reactions, then you probably didn't even realize there was two of us.
So yeah, just for context, I was telling him that he why was he worried about them being dressed up in maids when he likes Judas priest. who dressed up by women prostitutes, I think. LOLI was giving him crap. Same as you. So it's how good. Thank you so much.
