Yes, definitely Bajaj should have launched earlier. There are lot of expectation from Pulsar brand. Keep bringing more of such aspirational Pulsars. Ahead, give us a flagship Pulsar RS400 with full blown specs without caring for the price and higher sales. Let it be the flagship full of character. Let it remain definitely male. Don't dilute the brand with too commuter focused brand. Rather create a separate brand for commuter bikes including the N series. I would prefer to bring back the Caliber brand for commuter
@@pratikpatil6816 Avenger is a stupid looking proposition to the point, when they put the 220 mil in that thing, the 220f started reminding me of the Avenger and that's a bad bad thing to be associated with. I may be woefully wrong and but remember as long as you're on 2 wheels you're a brother.
As a person working in auto journalism, Im really disheartened with how the NS400Z has turned out to be. I dont wish to go into strategy and business side of things but talking about the motorcycle, I do not understand the point of launching the 400 with the 373cc engine from KTM given the fact that KTM has already launched the Duke 390 with a newer 399cc engine. On the other hand, Bajaj could have used Triumph's engine as well but giving the riders an older generation engine makes little sense to me. Moving on to design, it is fine that NS400 has a great resemblance to its younger siblings but taking parts straight away from the 200 and putting them on 400 is shambolic. On top of that, Bajaj really needs to work hard on build quality and overall fit and finish. So many products in the portfolio and now the NS400 but none of them offer the feel or experience of a premium motorcycle. Yes, the switch gear on the NS400 looks a bit more premium but overall, the motorcycle still looks like product made for everyone -- if all Bajaj wants is to capture market share, it's fine but despite me owing a Pulsar NS200, I'll never buy the NS400 and rather go for a Duke, Triumph or Himalayan. In terms of build quality and overall finish, I do not expect Bajaj motorcycles to carry the same finesse as KTMs or Triumph but atleast it could match the Apache 310s, right? The entire portfolio is not even close. It's high time Bajaj should start looking at giving us a motorcycle that will feel premium -- mature riders care about how well a product has been made, not just bigger CC and numbers like hps and NMs. At 1.85, this could be very well the new weapon of choice for the chhapri community.

You've mentioned that you don't want to talk about strategy and business side. But that is all these things about, business strategy. You can't make products just because you want to, you have to be strategic. In this case, bajaj's strategy is clearly to capitalize on price to performance value. Nobody will buy a bajaj for the price of a KTM or a Triumph. That's why this bike came out this way. To see what happens when companies release products purely out of enthusiasm, look at the rtr 310. That bike is great on paper, but nobody buys it. Why? Because there are bikes with premium brand names for the same price and with better performance. Namingly KTMs and Triumphs. So there you go.

I'll start taking them seriously, once they stop selling all the ancient pulsar models, including and especially the 220F. They've been stuck on the same model and have been stagnating for the last couple of years. They need to stop listening to the public and start doing their own thing. The public will follow.
