I have only seen a little of MP over the last few years, but I can tell by watching this that she has been putting in the work; she was great. I am always blown away by JaJa. Every time that I think that she has hit a ceiling, and can't get any better, she busts through it and crushes even more. Thanks to both for sharing their art.
Both are skilled. Marie makes good use of her torso length and Jaja has an effervescence about her that's rare. The dance community on the whole is amazing.
Marie ha really grown thru the years making leaps & bounds on her extremities' placements while staying on beat with the music. A BIG THUMBS up! I loved watching this.

Like Jaja was taking it to that next level that to me looked like if a robot were going to spontaneously start dancing, it would probably look a helluva lot like Jaja. I swear, that girl can cut it up crazy in so many vids I've watched lately. That bit from about 03:56 - 04:02 ... I can't get enough of it. Been looping it over and over. She looks to me like what one of those old time dolls would look like if it came to life and started getting jiggy. I mean, I swear, the girl has got robot down! Pretty much like no other. Sick ... great to watch. Her Outro is genius. I don't think anybody but a girl could pull that off in the way she does.
Jaja is my favorite. Her animation was absolutely awesome here. However, for this battle the difference was Marie Poppins being very conscious of the phrasing of the music, so her performance was more coherent overall.
I was so fucking vex that MP didn't get in to the Top 10 of street on SYTYCD. Like what the ___Nigel?! At least Ya-Ya busted on the lives! But seriously thou what kind of shit track was that for those roundz?! REALLY!?
