It's worth noting that Miles Brown recorded a very good 1:51.4 split for his anchor leg. To get hunted down while running that fast is ridiculous to think about.
I was miles teammate and an alternate for that relay. Miles brown is an insane athlete who runs a 46.5 in the 400. He’s better than Hobbs in some areas and is not someone that should be disrespected as a state champ before this as a sophomore
Would love to see Hobbs Kessler have similar success as a professional. He can influence an entire generation of athletes. East Kentwood has always had top notch facilities. I raced on their indoor track in the mid 70's.
My man needed every second of that 40m head start. That Kessler kid was coming.

Tells his grandchildren " I once beat the great Hobbs Kessler" but fails to mention he had a 50m head start on him.

Kessler is something special to watch
insane. his split was a 1:47
And his team got a 7 48
@@CraigElias-r3t so the rest of his team was running around 2 flat... rough
AMAZING! His kick in the 800 final for the win is equally impressive.
Thanks so much for posting! A great run for both Miles and Hobbs. Pure racing at its best!
Novi in 7:48.53
Ann Arbor Skyline in 7:48.56
By my timing, Hobbs went 54.2-53.7 for a 1:47.9 split
absolutely an amazing race. track is alive and well in MI! thanks for posting this.
Awfully close to dropping the baton before he crossed the line. Amazing talent bringing eyes to the sport
You're right! He actually did.
I was there to see my brother race, it was insane to see live
That’s what I call heart
