2014 is the first year of CVTs in regular Civics. Honda’s CVTs have gotten better in 2016 but their earlier CVTs and older transmissions were not the best of transmisions
The 2012 civics were horribly made, the plastics for the interior were poorly made that it can be broken very easily, it was reported the 2012 Civics has lots of wind noise, in windy weather the noise gets earbleeding that makes you deaf in one second
