The best field test of the Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XP50 Pro

- It's a TH-cam first: All the Laser Range Finder features of the new Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XP50 PRO with FULL 'THROUGH THE LENS' VIDEO.
We wanted to put the flagship of Pulsar thermal riflescopes through it's paces, so on a warm spring day (where everything was at a similar temperature) we found a flock of woolly, insulated lambs spread across a large hilly field at different ranges. Of course our Thermion 2 LRF XP50 Pro was tripod mounted for this demo and no lambs were hurt in the making. And keep watching till the end, as there's also a TH-cam FIRST: a great feature that no one else has shown!

Nice video. Does this scope have a ballistic calculator like the ATN Thor 4?
Pulsar have just announced a ballistic ap. I've not seen a release date for it yet but it will work with the Thermion2 LRF.

Put that on a real rifle and try reaching the range finder button again with your hand...
The range finder is only 2.5cm in front of the eye piece. It's the nearest control so it's easy to find and within everyone's reach... And that's a lot more convenient than the alternative: Taking your eye off the target while you find and power-up a separate range finder.

There's a choice of 8 colour palettes (That's standard across all Pulsar's - here's a video of a something with the same sensor that shows them: th-cam.com/video/l6_pFqxBNS0/w-d-xo.html)
Seems like you could zero this at 50 yards and then program the ammunition you’re using and when running the LRF it could adjust your reticle so that it was aligned for what you are aiming at. Take the guess work out of how high above a target you need to aim at when going from a 100 yard shot to say a 300 yard shot.
I think you're right and that's what it'll do.
We had a demo sample at the Great British Shooting Show earlier this year - I didn't get a chance to see it then but cant wait to.... and share a video on it.
