Hi Clint, love your channel more than anything, but at 8:20 I'm afraid you've misidentified Dobby the house elf. I'm almost certain he's a horned tree frog (Hemiphractus), not a casque-headed tree frog (Lophyohylini)! Edit: actually every fact you listed about him is true afaik, you're just calling him the wrong thing
Hearing someone say “This toad is NUTS” with such absolute and complete sincerity has given me like a weeks supply of serotonin in one shot, amazing video
😲But what's _REALLY_ nuts, is the giant tadpole climbing the tree just over Clint's left shoulder in the background at 9:10. That thing must weigh 80lbs!

thats not what happend. the frog was terrified. lot of animals have this "freezing" stress reaction after being flipped on their back. they may look calm but in fact they experience very intensive emotions, and thats why it should be avoided, especially with animals that are particulary sensitive to stress like birds and rabbits. sadly some people still recomend turning all animals that have this response for easier handling (like cutting pet's claws), often because they dont fully understand what happens when you do it.
This is the video where Clint Clint repeatedly tells us how rare direct development is, while also repeatedly telling us that it's part of the life cycle of every other frog he tells us about 😆

Hey, to be fair, you all need biologists like me haha! I spent my time looking at bacteria and trying to genetically modify them, studying how DNA works and why some bacteria CAN'T be modified (for example, you can't easily genetically modify chlamydia species), how antibiotic resistance works, that kind of thing. We don't go out into bushes and look for frogs, but we're still pretty important!
