Felicidades por el trabajo. Recomendaría un par de cosas: 1. Ponerse guantes de latex para no mancharse las manos de pintura y para no dejar grasa en el modelo. 2. Preparar un pequeño soporte para sujetar los modelos a pintar. De esta manera pueden quedar más bien orientados, además de no tener que dejarlos a ras de suelo. También se evita que se queden pegados con el papel. Espero que sean de utilidad. Deseamos ver más interesantes transformaciones.

Good video! Glad to know Tamiya Silver Leaf such a good paint match. Ok I am from the Pacific Northwest of the USA, and we just lost our last two original Talgo VI sets not that long ago. Well I started thinking I want a Talgo set and I have never really looked into them. I kind of fell in love with the Talgo III cars. The round port hole windows, fluting and all. I have been looking at purchasing two train sets and some extra cars. Doing a "What if" there was a Talgo set in the mid 60's-80's. Because there is no prototype I was thinking about mixing and matching car sets but I don't know if it would look right? I find myself with this question... Could I run a Talgo III base set with add on Talgo III RD cars? My idea was use the Talgo III basic set + a cafe car, and then if I can use RD style cars for "first class" and their bigger windows, make a custom fill kitchen car and dining room car. I have never seen anyone mix the sets the two sets or at least not in my searching has one popped up. I can see the fluting is a little different on the two, but as long as they connect the same and are the same over length and diameter size I think they could mix well... Right?

Thank you very much for your words. Unfortunately, mixing Talgo III cars with Talgo RD cars is NOT correct from a historical point of view. The best thing to do is to use pure compositions of one or the other model. It is easier to find in the second-hand market units of 6 cars plus other additional cars (first class, second class and cafeteria) of the Talgo III, for example on eBay.

@ Well I am not going after anything near to prototype, so it's safe for me to mix on that front. First class is the RD cars with the bigger windows kind of idea. As long as the two car sizes are the same size and it's just different window sizes on the side that's all I am really caring about. A just like makeup a matching paint job on all the cars could hide a lot of sin. If one body shell is bigger in diameter or longer it could look toss it off in a bad way. Thank you for the link too. I will have to save it for when I do the Talgo VI build. I want to clone some of the longer over night consist you can see in Europe as an Amtrak Cascades train.

Excelente trabajo. Tengo un problema en un Talgo de la poca IV, escala N. Es es siguiente: en las curvas los fuelles negros rozan, lo que provoca un descarrilamiento. Cómo prodria solucionarlo? Gracias.

Me extraña que te pase eso con el talgo III sea de Ibertren o de Arnold. Quizá el problema radique en el radio de las curvas.
¿Has probado con un bastoncillo higiénico impregnado en alcohol de 96 °C para eliminar la tampografía de las matriculas?. A veces solo con eso, frontandole, se elimina y no tienes que usar papel de lija. Aunque séa de grano muy fino y al agua, puede dejar microsurcos.

Yo con eso le quité la pintura a un antiguo coche pseudo 8000 de la antigua Ibertren en escala -N-. Salió toda. Eso si, es un disolvente que no ataca el plastico.
@ Un comentario más. Yo no recomendaría el papel de cocina para proteger el resto de la pintura porque es absorbente y la pintura penetra con relativa facilidad. Yo suelo usar cinta de enmascarar de pintor y me va muy bien.

@@jagc1969 No había tenido en cuenta ese detalle... cinta de enmascarar más ancha, o utilizar plástico. En aquel momento no tenía otras cosas a mano, y la aplicación iba a ser pequeña. Muchas gracias por tu aportación.

Buen trabajo, pero mejor que usar la lija usa alcohol para eliminar la tampografía.
Me recomendaron la lija al agua y a ido fenomenal. Con el alcohol podría haber riesgo de levantar la pintura roja.
