@@powdermonkey7697 yes the People's Liberation Army's tactics was pretty much that. If you actually study VPA's conventional doctrine, you'll know that they follow a very mechanized proto-Blitzkriegish tactics called "Blooming Lotus" where infantry combined with artillery and armor attack the enemy force with precision and speed, overwhelming them with sheer firepower. In urban battles, they swarm into the cities with infantry and armor, rather than surrounding the city and working inwards like western armies, they speed into said city/town and overwhelm the garrison there, taking vital points and strategic positions that would cripple the enemy's ability to fight back. They crippled the ARVN with around 2 million soldiers or so in a few months using said tactics, and later the Khmer Rogue in Cambodia in 2 weeks. This isn't politics, simply history. My way of explaining might have some flaws and wrongs here and there but that's the limit of what I know about said doctrine.

However France, being the colossal jackass it has been since Napoleon when given a shred of power began throwing out threats to leave NATO and cause problems the Americans decided to side with france. The leader even sent many letters to the president, all of which were captured and locked away by the C.I.A
