Managed to do it today thanks to your strategy :) the only unit replaced was meliadoul by SDFina (+2 physical fall and tornado chain), and put ignorance instead Cradle of horns (no need for it really). Everything else pretty much the same.
Wilhelm7, Xon, Ayaka7, A.Rain7, Rhinoa7, and Dragonlord7 friend (with status resistance. What a gem!) Badly underestimated Dragonlord's Kafrizz after Super Channel Anger and accidentally kicked the dino's ass. Missed 2 missions :(. Thanks for the strat! I just couldn't bear to bench my new 7's, they're too new and sparkly still.
Some critical information that you didn't mention about this set up. Phoenix must have Raise trained for Xon to be able to use it in the last fight. Veritas of the Earth must have his abilities Awakened in order to survive the group damage. Took me a while to recruit a proper dragonlord and then a wait for them to show up on the usable friends list (my fault for waiting until the last day to attempt this mission), then to get in and have Earthy die first(2nd) turn and find out Xon got no raise lol
For greater demon, gotta kill it in 3 turns at most. The exploit would be to break the threshhold each turn. Turn 1, drop him to within 70-50%HP Turn 2, drop him to within 50-20% HP Turn 3, go for the kill. During my test, chain capping Kafrizzle 1350MAG with 50% M Demon Killer can shed barely 30%HP. When you do that, The most greater demon does is to retaliate with graviga kind of attack and flare (which should be provoked by100% fire resistant tank)
pretty easy going step by step, with your way. It sucks that kafizzle is not magic damage, missed that moogle. With this, I can retry.. no big deal. Thanks brother.
If kafrizle were magic damage, i will definitely stop puling for future mages.. imagine with dual, the kafrizzle will be 2x44mod.. =88 multipler!!! Wa haha..shiver...
Eiko may not be better than Garnet here. Her evocation fill is 1-3 (where Garnet fills exactly 3 esper orbs). Eiko needs more LB crystals than Garnet to fill up her LB. May take longer to get your esper orb full during turn 1
They need to fix Eiko up on that part, She is the 7* and hard to get type character. She should be better in everything other then Garnet giving Elemental Resists.
Can you post units that can be replaced? Wol can replace VoE in this strat? Maybe Basch with moogle shield? Barusa? Any other summoner? Barb or Kid Rydia can replace Lexa? Do not have Frozen Hurricane yet... but maybe I can use Adam 7* or ther chain, right? There's a unit to replace Dragonlord? My brother have a Olive with ~2k atk. TIA! Great video. Congrats
VoE is replaceable by Basch, WoL, any other aoe phy cover tank with 100% fire resist. Provoke is needed for stage 2 but you can use item protagonist halo. Kid Rydia is the ideal unit for Lexa role. On turn 1 she can help fill esper gauge too. If no frozen hurricane,You need another tornado chainer that can break - Seabreeze dark fina, rinoa works. Adam jensen chaining skill is a cooldown and wont work well here. Need 2 chainers, Maybe use 2 different chainers entirely to chaincap Kafrizzle, so replace lexa and meliadoul. Orlandeau/VoD will work since they have breaking skills Not sure about Olive, whats impotant is to be able to deal 35% damage on stage 2 per turn. I dont think Olive has skill that can consistently do that (immolation blast will kill her )

Dia akan counter pake 90%HP ATK Turn 2 hajar musuh antara 50%-20% Akan dicounter pake 90% HP Attack + Flare (harus diprovokr ama 100% fire resist unit/tank). Turn 3 kalo tidak habisin musuh, atau musuh hidup HP dibawah 20%, kayanya si akan counter pake magic (perlu magic tank di sini)
The key is your DL must have enough power to break the threshold om Greater Demon. On my trial, 1350MAG LV120 DL with 50% demon killer barely hit the 70% HP threshold. Any less than that i think it would fail.
I didn't realize how important manufactured nethicite would be and I got rid of it at the time. Any other option I use out side of that? Oh and no jade pendant either. From now on I'm crafting all materia lol.

Anthony Terry if you can get esper gauge full by turn 3 (like in the video), then you wont need to use jademoon pendant. So give garnet more auto LB gears, use Rikku Pouch for fasterLB fillrate. so garnet can use her LB sooner to fill up esper gauge

usually Knight Delita with excalibur and non elemental one hand, Delita 7 star with his tmr, damage is very low, i mean i chained them and still barely did 30% damage (after break) I'll try again later , but i never understand those things lol , i see people like you dealing with these mobs and have to be carefull not to kill too fast hahaha, and i do like 8k x hit with Knight Delita 1200 atk,
andrea piro i think that’s the problem. Knight Delita is not strong enough. YOur K Delita has 1200ATK whereas my DL has 1400MAG. That’s one difference. Then my K Delita skill has 5x modifer whereas Kafrizle has 34x modifier. That’s about 7x more damage already. So if you shed 30%HP, Kafrizzle kan shed 210% HP after chain capping at the least.
Meliadoul: crush weapon, sacred knight. Hers is not essential you should get by without upgrading her abilities VoE: guardian, incinerating press. I think you “mightl be able to get by without upgrading his ability too if you have enouhh DEF buff

the very minimum for the finisher is 1350MG max level Dragonlord with at least 50% M. Demon killer and enhanced Kafrizzle+2

So I'm gonna do this but Swap Meliadou with 7* Ramza, Lexa with 7* Dark Fina and Garnet with Eiko. That should do the trick.
