Ever since it came out, I have felt like _World is the most Rose Quartz&Serenity song, choreo and MV Seventeen ever had - and seeing their stage sets and outfits, I can feel like they did it on purpose. Honestly it feels like what makes Seventeen so captivating was bottled up in one era, specially for more old-school carats, from debut to Aju Nice?? The flower petals exploding, the musical set, the catchy and upbeat song... This is why it feels like fanservice, in my opinion. Hope you're feeling better now!

It's official. I have fallen in love with SEVENTEEN. They have a unique SVTN sound and distinct dancing style. Hoshi is one of the best dancers I've seen. (Hoshi of SVTN, B.I, J-Hope, and Jimin of BTS are some of my most favourite dancers of all time. I am including Fred Astaire, and Gene Kelly in this line up!). I think the screen time for members is best for this MV. I saw everyone almost equally. Some that might have less screen time were Jeonghan and Joshua.
Everything's real from the set, to the car, the billboard on top of a very high ledge, the fireworks and confetti, to even the colorful skies 😆 The plane is probably the only thing that's not there.

I WAS WAITING FOR THIS! I'm with PD on a lot of things but here's my two-cents as a 7-year Carat, as a fan who stuck by them when they were only selling thousands of albums, I totally relate to PD on the emotional portion. In 2015 we slipped into the diamond life, and in 2022 we're invited to their world - this hits! Especially this Face The Sun/Sector17 eras that made me realise wow I've been with them for so long and these boys have become men! When _World was released, it was a love at first hear+sight, I couldn't put it down, and I had that so many times when it comes to Woozi's music and SVT music videos (Pinwheel being the most out of all for me). Like PD, it made me happy, it made me feel good, and the lyrics felt even more meaningful as an 'old' fan. I always love Freshteen, and seeing how Woozi's production on such concepts evolved from Adore U, Mansae, Pretty U, Beautiful, Thinkin' About You, To You, to now _World, it's like growing WITH his music and SVT together. Ok I'm gonna stop here but I'm sure any Carat who's been through the eras with the boys would definitely feel the same as me :)
You know there are certain songs that just hit your soul, it's so hard to explain how or why. This is it for me. It's such a comfort song and it served its purpose. It did what needed to be done. I'm so proud of seventeen for always showing us they can master any genre you throw at them. This year has been more than amazing for them and I pray this is just the start. I attended three of their be the sun concerts and I was so amazed at each one. The sky is their limit.
It seems like every other SVT MV to me. Soft colors, great synchronized dancing and their usual safe sweet boy concept. There are 13 members. It’s good that there is diversity in screen dominance among members between MVs.

I remember seeing a behind the scenes of the cameramen taking that car shot. And it was basically a whole car with the wheels attached. The cameraman was on that hoverboard thing NCT Dream used in Chewing Gum and basically just pushed the camera through past Vernon and when the car moves, the cameraman moves along with his Segway hoverboard. Can’t remember how they got the car to move though. I think it was just on D without pressing the accelerator so the car is still moving along. Edit: just rewatched the mv behind, and I think they put the car on N and had some staff members push it from behind

Like you said, it's a very musical-like MV and the fact that they don't look into the camera almost convinces me that they're just breaking into dance just to dance, not to film a MV (if that makes any sense). I really really really love this song so much. The only weird thing about this is the fact that it’s less than 3 minutes, I would’ve loved a last chorus, but tbh I don’t even know how it’ll sound with another one. I wouldn’t agree with the not so Woozi production on the song though. The song is like a compilation of various SVT songs styles into one. The beginning reminded me so much of Domino. The basslines especially the highlight one audible after the 1st come come into my world reminded me of Adore U. The building up choruses from the guitars in the 1st to the added brass and voice adlib in the 2nd and the full blown last chorus with another layer of brass and voice adlibs paired with Hoshi’s enunciation and very smiley face *chef’s kiss*. It was similar to Left and Right in terms of layers per chorus, Aju Nice and Home;run with the choice of brass which made it unique because of the overall instrumentals from disco-synths to guitar, then brass, and the clapping (their main percussion), how could I forget. I just love this song with my whole heart 🤣

I was so looking forward to this video, thanks for coming up with another reaction to Seventeen! So I love how Svt is always trying different things and how they're not afraid of it, always trying to surprise, that's so cool
No because imagine if all 13 of them look at the camera while the center is singing - that'd be intimidating lol. Seriously. What's great about SEVENTEEN is their synchronization and knowing "who's part is next" because of the excellent way they get and direct your attention to another member. If you're not only watching for your bias, you'll most definitely look at someone in the center (or who's singing). Their dance practice videos can pull this off perfectly it's insane! With that being said, they shouldn't all look at the camera together (except for intentional shots like the one in the end) because those others in the back might accidentally get the attention of the viewers, when they are purposely making you watch the center. And that's what's great about SEVENTEEN - every member shines.

Oh wow I didn't realize the level of cohesion between the music, choreography and cinematography until PD pointed it out at 24:15. It's really cool how the cinematography jumps between highlighting each member's vocal line to little nuances in the instrumentation. For example at 25:51 and how the focal jumps from Seungkwan and his singing to the sound of the knocking in the instrumental, through Vernon's choreography. But by having Vernon be the member to do the knocking it provides a smooth transition into his lines. And all within a 5 second window! Chef's kiss to the level of thought put into the details.

I think _world is for sure a sequel to Ash. The concept of Ash is inspired by a phoenix, to be reborn from the ashes into a new world. This leads onto the concept of _world. Although the members explain the "_" is defined by whatever you want it to be, the over arching theme is that this is a new world, where you (carats) have creative freedom. It all links up, to be burnt from the sun, turn into ash and then reborn. Truly Woozi and Bumzu are on another level of story telling during Face the Sun/Sector17 era.
I loooove _World because it's got that funky groove with the bassline, and all the Seungkwan of course! I honestly think Seungkwan's voice can do anything, I consider it to be a very mature sounding and trained voice so singing more traditional sounding music I think suits him somewhat so I can kinda see where you're coming from in a way - because more edgier or experimental type songs maybe are just not Seungkwan's home? So these sweeter songs with heartfelt direct singing definitely I feel suit his voice. This MV really really has joyful vibes, the song is so beautiful and heartwarming, and the transitions in the video are just incredible. "Won't let you dooooown"
On my first listen, just the begging was underwhelming and i thought it was going to be their 'dynamite'. But then Vernon's part happened and from there on it got better, it also grew on me. Not to mention the performance enhances the song's charm and it was all smiles.
for the choreo thing they probably had the center/who's singing look at the camera to be the focus of the shot!! it draws attention to that person and that person only. they are the only person making a connection to the audience therefore it is their solo moment. it doesn't seem to happen in the live stages tho!!

This MV is the first time I ever checked out Seventeen and I love this song! I will definitely check out more of their stuff now. I mean this in the best way possible, I feel like this song fits very well with BTS's Boy With Luv, with its energy, mood, vibe, colors, singing style.
In one clip which I can't remember where, I have heard about the meaning of "_World" that because members want to everyone freely fills the blank with your own. Actually, I think another song named "Circles" is the must try for me too. The meaning of song is so so good including the melody. Now, I listen to Circles before go to bed in every night. XD
In the behind the scenes of the mv filming they use the entire car! If you watch it it’ll definitely answer your questions! Wheels, window shield and everything and they put the car in neutral and another person was pushing the car from behind! The cameraman was using this extension that was attached to his body and as the car was moving he was walking with it. Also for the set, the back brick building is real! They did film their carnival ep for going seventeen there, but the rest on the sidelines is a set! Also commentary on the eye contact with choreo, I feel like members are used to it now. They give that specific member their spotlight during their part and they just do what they have to do.

You know there are certain songs that just hit your soul, it's so hard to explain how or why. This is it for me. It's such a comfort song and it served its purpose. It did what needed to be done. I'm so proud of seventeen for always showing us they can master any genre you throw at them. This year has been more than amazing for them and I pray this is just the start. I attended three of their be the sun concerts and I was so amazed at each one. The sky is their limit.

It seems like every other SVT MV to me. Soft colors, great synchronized dancing and their usual safe sweet boy concept.
There are 13 members. It’s good that there is diversity in screen dominance among members between MVs.
I think this song so so needs right now coming out of such a dark dark time for a long long time. So I am so happy they gave us this little (not so little) gift.
I remember seeing a behind the scenes of the cameramen taking that car shot. And it was basically a whole car with the wheels attached. The cameraman was on that hoverboard thing NCT Dream used in Chewing Gum and basically just pushed the camera through past Vernon and when the car moves, the cameraman moves along with his Segway hoverboard. Can’t remember how they got the car to move though. I think it was just on D without pressing the accelerator so the car is still moving along.
Edit: just rewatched the mv behind, and I think they put the car on N and had some staff members push it from behind
I think PD needs to watch the behind the scenes of _World...they explained everything, celebrated a bday, the laugh trip moments, and esp. the car scene...

I really really really love this song so much. The only weird thing about this is the fact that it’s less than 3 minutes, I would’ve loved a last chorus, but tbh I don’t even know how it’ll sound with another one.
I wouldn’t agree with the not so Woozi production on the song though. The song is like a compilation of various SVT songs styles into one. The beginning reminded me so much of Domino. The basslines especially the highlight one audible after the 1st come come into my world reminded me of Adore U. The building up choruses from the guitars in the 1st to the added brass and voice adlib in the 2nd and the full blown last chorus with another layer of brass and voice adlibs paired with Hoshi’s enunciation and very smiley face *chef’s kiss*. It was similar to Left and Right in terms of layers per chorus, Aju Nice and Home;run with the choice of brass which made it unique because of the overall instrumentals from disco-synths to guitar, then brass, and the clapping (their main percussion), how could I forget. I just love this song with my whole heart 🤣

its a whole car PD!! they have behind the scenes in twitter and in Inside Seventeen!! The effects are all true,the fireworks blowing up is so loud the scaredy members where really nervous and the place is where they shoot their Going Seventeen Carnival episode.

Seriously. What's great about SEVENTEEN is their synchronization and knowing "who's part is next" because of the excellent way they get and direct your attention to another member. If you're not only watching for your bias, you'll most definitely look at someone in the center (or who's singing). Their dance practice videos can pull this off perfectly it's insane!
With that being said, they shouldn't all look at the camera together (except for intentional shots like the one in the end) because those others in the back might accidentally get the attention of the viewers, when they are purposely making you watch the center. And that's what's great about SEVENTEEN - every member shines.

I was waiting for your reaction to this mv for days!!! Glad finally it's here!! The music video is so colorful, beautiful, and creative and it fit perfectly for the music.
Oh wow I didn't realize the level of cohesion between the music, choreography and cinematography until PD pointed it out at 24:15. It's really cool how the cinematography jumps between highlighting each member's vocal line to little nuances in the instrumentation. For example at 25:51 and how the focal jumps from Seungkwan and his singing to the sound of the knocking in the instrumental, through Vernon's choreography. But by having Vernon be the member to do the knocking it provides a smooth transition into his lines. And all within a 5 second window! Chef's kiss to the level of thought put into the details.

I think _world is for sure a sequel to Ash. The concept of Ash is inspired by a phoenix, to be reborn from the ashes into a new world. This leads onto the concept of _world. Although the members explain the "_" is defined by whatever you want it to be, the over arching theme is that this is a new world, where you (carats) have creative freedom. It all links up, to be burnt from the sun, turn into ash and then reborn. Truly Woozi and Bumzu are on another level of story telling during Face the Sun/Sector17 era.

I loooove _World because it's got that funky groove with the bassline, and all the Seungkwan of course! I honestly think Seungkwan's voice can do anything, I consider it to be a very mature sounding and trained voice so singing more traditional sounding music I think suits him somewhat so I can kinda see where you're coming from in a way - because more edgier or experimental type songs maybe are just not Seungkwan's home? So these sweeter songs with heartfelt direct singing definitely I feel suit his voice. This MV really really has joyful vibes, the song is so beautiful and heartwarming, and the transitions in the video are just incredible. "Won't let you dooooown"

On my first listen, just the begging was underwhelming and i thought it was going to be their 'dynamite'. But then Vernon's part happened and from there on it got better, it also grew on me. Not to mention the performance enhances the song's charm and it was all smiles.
for the choreo thing they probably had the center/who's singing look at the camera to be the focus of the shot!! it draws attention to that person and that person only. they are the only person making a connection to the audience therefore it is their solo moment. it doesn't seem to happen in the live stages tho!!

This MV is the first time I ever checked out Seventeen and I love this song! I will definitely check out more of their stuff now. I mean this in the best way possible, I feel like this song fits very well with BTS's Boy With Luv, with its energy, mood, vibe, colors, singing style.
In one clip which I can't remember where, I have heard about the meaning of "_World" that because members want to everyone freely fills the blank with your own. Actually, I think another song named "Circles" is the must try for me too. The meaning of song is so so good including the melody. Now, I listen to Circles before go to bed in every night. XD
I have a hunch that SVT may want to start a huge concept and invite new caratz or the other BG/GG fans into their new world

In the behind the scenes of the mv filming they use the entire car! If you watch it it’ll definitely answer your questions! Wheels, window shield and everything and they put the car in neutral and another person was pushing the car from behind! The cameraman was using this extension that was attached to his body and as the car was moving he was walking with it. Also for the set, the back brick building is real! They did film their carnival ep for going seventeen there, but the rest on the sidelines is a set! Also commentary on the eye contact with choreo, I feel like members are used to it now. They give that specific member their spotlight during their part and they just do what they have to do.
