He did 30 years in the Army and Marines, went to war 3 times and did things that still give him nightmares every night, and grew up hard in inner city Chicago. My entire life has been different from his, so it seems like we come from different planets sometimes. Tattoos are a therapy for some people. That point gave me a lot to consider. Thank you.
The only thing i wish for Tom, beyond his own independent success is that one day he gets to feel his fans love in a Stadium concert. Like 100k fans singing his songs back to him. The one thing Independent artist seem to not have. The appropriate recognition and face to face love from the fans.

Very much appreciate the love. We do talk and pause, but we try and make it quick. Most ppl on here are very positive about the small breakdowns we do during. I also try and make sure videos don't go much past a 15-20 minute mark depending on song length.
And to add to that, is we are very much music motivated. Music is my only outlet for any emotion I have and it's the same for Kyle. We never want to be fake or a gimmick. We just are us.

I haven't been a fan for more than a day, so forgive me if I mention a song you've already reacted to, my dude Kyle has no doubt heard it, but your clarity of thought and commentary would definitely be appropriate. It's a heavy song and a lot of people actually won't react to it because of the intense nature of the song. Daddy by Korn. It's very real, and honest in it's production, Johnathon Davis actually admits that everything he says, does during was an honest emotional description of how he was feeling, they just left it recording. But, with truthful journeys artists take being something that seems to be so accepted here (especially, raw vulnerability shared in male artists) I find it would be a great addition. Ya know, there seems to be a social construct that has a pretense saying the men in our community shouldn't be raw and vulnerable and truthful in their weaknesses and you guys actually celebrating them and seeing the strength it can give a person is very powerful. 1 year late to seeing this reaction of yours, but this is the song that made me fall for Tom..... admittedly, only after i spent a solid 2 hours bawling like a baby in my chair first with this song playing on repeat. 😭 It was also the FIRST song of his i ever heard. I had stumbled onto him due to a tweet by a person named Tim Pool who was pushing Tom's new (at the time) Track RIOT that the billboards were trying to suppress. In searching for RIOT to see if he was someone i wanted to support, i saw the thumbnail for Scars... listened to it first, then became a wet puddle of tears as quite a few years of held in.... things.... found an outlet. I was raised in the "men don't cry" days.... so i tend to automatically bottle things up inside. But that doesn't mean we don't feel.. we simply don't show it, and what we don't show gets bottled up inside instead. Between 14-18, i had a sudden issue with both my lungs. Long story short, it resulted in 6 random lung collapses, that alternated right to left, one of which nearly killed me in my sleep. As well as 2 chest surgeries, one of which was essentially an open-heart style, but it was my lungs they were working on. Nature tried to kill while i was awake and moving, then tried again to kill me in my sleep (the worst of the lung collapses, 80% collapse, happened in my sleep), but i was to stubborn to lay there and die. Then just before the 2nd surgery, my own mind tried to kill me as i had gotten so tired of fighting, but my stubbornness, and loyalty to my family/friends (because leaving would hurt them and that went against my vary being), again kept me from falling. I only have one tattoo on my arm, its a wolf howling at a moon, but its my "im tougher than you can imagine" badge that reminds me of what ive survived. This song has become one of my "venting" triggers, that lets me 'release' whats bottled up.
Another good Tom song that has a completely different vibe then his other songs is “No Good Bastards”…it’s a fairly heavy rock song (looking at you Kyle😉😂)
