Aye from September some of our roads are going back. Spending something like £4 million reverting them, after the £33 million spent initially. Imagine how many potholes they could have fixed for 37 million quid 🤦

Doing some local roads Salisbury to Shaftsbury, Loomies etc, stop at Red Shoot pub in Ringwood then New Forest for coffee and cake (yes, we are right hardcore bikers 😅).. Then West Bay the following day taking in the Jurassic Coast.. Cant wait. Then im off to Bedfordshire for three days where my bro lives .. As long as the flesh stays pink it should stay on. It'll be numb because you've cut the nerves going to it, also if the cut off bit went white, all the skin of the bit that got cut off is probably gonna go hard like a scab and then peal off. The skin pretty much died when I did mine but the new skin underneath was ok. You should get feeling back after a while. Good luck.
Hey guys, love the videos! I test rode the M R (non comp) today and I immediately felt the bars buzz straight after 4k rpm, also on the motorway the mirrors became completely useless, the lights of the cars behind me pretty much jumped up and down. I know Evotech offers some heavier bar end weights and people have said to use other mirrors, but i still sort of feel.. worried. Also I noticed the buzz in the rearsets/brake lever aswell, at the worst moment. Why I'm writing is because a BMW dealer has their 30th anniversary and are offering a PCP loan with 0%, so that is insane.. I'm sort of still having doubts regarding the vibrations. Have you guys found a way to sort it out? Does it improve over time? Cheers!
They are doing 0% on an m1000r?? What dealer is it? To be honest Baz says the vibrations got worse from 500 miles onwards, you are right about the mirrors, they are useless. We have been told about the weights to fix some of the bar vibrations but he has not got them… he thinks that a bike costing 24k should not need fixing by the customer. He still says it’s an absolutely mint bike though, he loves it 😊
@@Mancs1000r Thanks for the fast reply! Well sad to inform you, it's in Finland😁in a town called Oulu, EMC (Euro Moto Center). Here we have a rather high vehicle tax, so the bike would be 23 050 € + 8889 € (tax) + 6360 € for the comp pack, overall.. quite a lot, but having a PCP of 0%.. is nuts, saves over 10k in the 5y time. The deal ends with April.. so yeah, you can see my conundrum. I totally agree with him, a bike costing that much should not need any additional work.. (facepalm). And from what I've read, it doesn't fix it completely.. Maybe there will be a facelift in a year or 2 that brings the upgrades.. who knows. My younger brother got the 23 RR last summer, he says he doesn't experience such vibrations, although the engine is straight off of it. I am quite satisfied with my 21 MT-09 SP at the moment, but this deal is just so tempting and probably won't get another chance like this in my lifetime.. At one point I thought the carbon rims could be the issue, but since I experienced the vibes today with the non comp, then they mustn't really. I did test ride the new KTM 1390 SDR Evo on Friday, but.. I just like the finesse on the BMW more. Did you bury the idea of the V4S? I can't stand the fact that it doesn't have a fuel gauge and cruise control.. at this price it is wrong. Pardon for the wall of text 🙃.

Honestly what you said about the V4S is the main reason I’m not as keen on it now, it’s a mint looking and sounding bike but I’m not sure I could put up without the comforts of the bmw, it has everything you need and more than enough power for the road (talking about my s1000r). My pcp runs out in January next year so I will be seriously looking at other bikes. KTM have a great deal on a new 1290 SDR because of the new 1390, could be worth checking out. Our local dealer have a good deal on the s1000rr at 3.9% which I am considering… I like the comfort of the naked 😊 I also heard that Yamaha are bringing out the new mt09 which has been revamped, looks quite nice tbh

Your finger should be ok long term, nearly lost the top of my thumb and it took ages for the feeling to come back, painful in the cold for about a year😬
