- I assumed the little TK-16 would be fun at the Skatepark but I never expected it to take some of the hard hits STRAIGHT ONTO CONCRETE typical of a Skatepark bash😱

I struggled to find the HSP 2440 3500kv motors but most 2440 or 2445 motors have 2.3mm shafts and will work with the stock pinion.

All of my DIY carbon, aluminium or polycarbonate parts are cut with a jigsaw and drilled with a hand drill.
Most of my materials like Carbon Fibre, Aluminium, polycarbonate and hardware like screws, bolts and nuts are purchased from Ebay Australia but most of what I use is easily found just by Google searching the material or hardware you require.

Cracking little cars. I need to get myself a little skate park basher. The local skate park to me is being rebuilt only problem is they have been at it forever. Also my air time skills are not great so don't like taking the XMaxx to the skate parks any more. Catch you on the next one.
Ah yes as a X skateboarder I've seen many parks take WAY to long to be built or maintained.
And I totally understand when it comes to air control, destroyed many cars pushing my driving skill.
When off-roading I still always try and place the ramps facing a soft grassy area or like the bark area I drive at, I still crash pushing limits so anything that will help prevent damage is a plus😅

Hey what brand of shocks was on the q117,?
If I remember correctly I believe Ange said they were after market or no name wltoys shocks.
Same as what I use on mine I think just a different colour.

Good video. Nice bash session. Only ending up with one, maybe two bent screws and one that loosened is not bad at all.
And I guess going to the skatepark with basically any RC expecting to break something and not actually breaking anything feels just that little bit sweeter😌😅

Maximum I've seen them here is about $60 Australian dollars, most places around $45 and like $12-15 for the RXs.
Lucky you can bind as many RXs into one TX as you want, no they don't have model memory so don't go turning on multiple cars at once if bound to the same TX😅
