I'm Italian, I live 50 km from Piacenza and I just wanted to thank you for having brought a testimony of our excellence to those who live elsewhere. Your smile, dedication and your passion are admirable. Thank you very much for introducing a corner of Italy!

To get away from tourist crowds and see real Italy, I recommend visiting the 'P' cities -- Pisa, Piacenza, Perugia, Parma, Padua, Pavia, Pordenone, etc.
Regio Emilia has a beautiful opera house, I saw Verdi's "Simon Boccanegra" there. I mainly go to Italy for the opera, and do other things in between shows.

wadda great map of the region. Great to see all its regional specialities Italian food is amazing. tante grazie belle Michele very well made video. I find the region Emila Romagna very interesting the Italians themselves have high regards of it. it's simular to Rhone-Alpes around Lyon in France but then better. Hahaha, just kidding. Maybe.

What to eat ? Anything is eatable
Some of the Italian food names are not easy to pronounce or spell
One of the meat you mentioned in beginning I love that meat very thin slices

Tell to americans that tortellini, tortelloni, lasagne and tagliatelle are not pasta. Pasta is made with durum and water. We use white normal wheat and eggs.

Hi Michele, thank you for your vlog. Your content is superb and in stark contrast with so many 'travel journalists' in Australia who have the cheek to publish content and comments about Italy which are simply superficial. We moved from Melbourne last year to start a new life in Italy. 'Our' friend Fiona Nixon said we should check your vlogs out. I'm glad she did! Aguri Maria e Rowan

Ciao Maria and Rowan! Thank you for your lovely comment and feedback. What a dream to live in Italy! I’m so happy for you both. Say hello to Fiona for me 😊🇮🇹
