Fasilades Tewodros. I'm born and bred in England and have never felt the need to put on an England shirt and be all patriotic when Ive not experienced anything to be patriotic about. I'm not like the younger generation black who may be more Patriotic at heart due to them being cut off culturally from their African or Caribbean roots. Being born here and not being accepted was a social norm for me growing up..and still kind of is....so I got used to not giving a damn about England...but i always want England to beat Germany for some reason...always have and always will...does that count?

I actually watch NRL, and mid season, we have State of Origin (NSW vs QLD). The way it works is that wherever a player first plays league, they are eligible for Origin. Why doesn't the prem do like a tournament of three with like London (Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs, Palace, West Ham), Mersyside (Everton, Liverpool) and Manchester (City, United). But go with the first place they played in England, i.e. Salah and Alexis at London, Welbeck for Manchester, Sterling for Mersyside.

Yes Robbie, you are spot on about English fans, I have always found that this is their problem, they just can't seem to get past their club allegiance, and this has resulted in poor team results for the country, it is also ingrained in the players as well , as was pointed out by Ferdinand.

There’s 2 reasons that England can’t win the World Cup.
1) They don’t spread their players on an international level
2) All the top countries have a few world class players and a good goalkeeper

And the hatred that I have for Leipzig is like from 2 years ago so I can only imagine how Arsenal fans feel about Spurs players.
Second example: I live in France and a lot of my mates are Marseille fans and I can assure you that if a PSG player scores, they won't give a shit because the hatred between the clubs, players ans fans is so deep.
