You know that tv channel TLC? They have these shows, "extreme couponing", "extreme hoarding", "extreme whatever...". This would be the first episode of "Extreme Packing". No, this would be the season finale! And by the way, I would watch that show. Every episode.
I always like to split our clothes across mine & my bf's case when we travel so that in the event one of our cases does go missing we both have enough/appropriate clothes to last us a couple of days. I love those pack it cube's - will try and find something similar here in the uk!
You don't have to take your ipad and kindle unless you are using the kindle as an alternative to the ipad at the pool, the kindle app works great on apple products and you can condense down into one item if you wanted to save taking two ereaders with you as you are allowed to download to multiple devices. (you can also use the nook app or as overdrive books if you loan from your local library) Just recently found your posts and I love them, so fun and informative.
I really enjoyed your packing video, Jen. I dislike packing and can't believe that I am actually looking forward to doing it after watching your video. I am going on a cruise early next year and will be away for over a month and I think that packing for it is going to be a nightmare. I use packing cubes too and am now thinking that I should order a few more smaller ones after seeing how you pack. Thanks so much for sharing. You are always so inspiring!
So glad you decided to go ahead and get the two smaller suitcases, I think you'll be happy in the long run. I love your packing cubes I may start using those too. I tend to use ziplocks because they are lighter weight and disposable. Go see Cirque De Soliel Mystere if you haven't already done so. We have seen this show several times. Safe and fun travels to you and The Donald!

I was wondering if you could do a laundry storage organization video. My washer/dryer is in my Master Bath so I like to keep it all tucked away nice and neat but looking for some helpful organization hints.

omg u are the packing queen.. the whole time i was watching i kept thinking omg she isnt gonna fit all of that into the suitcases but u did it seriously wish u watched this before i went on my vaca i would have been able to take a lot more with me
Ps. I didn't mean that to sound snarky, just surprised. That's okay though I've been known to pack 10 heavy books in the past and go overweight because of books, thank god for Kindles now. Thank you for showcasing the suitcases, they do seem nice. I will consider them for next year's sale (if they have it) for our Scotland trip.
Not sure where in Pennyslvania you are going, but here In southwestern pennsylvania it is going to be in the high 80's (close to the 90's) all next week. Yes it is 'cooler' than Vegas, but the humidity is a killer! I was leaving from work last night at 11:30PM and it was downright NASTY outside...and it was only 78 degrees!

I would love to see a more in depth look at your travel beauty product bags. I really enjoy packing but all the how-to videos or articles always skip over the toiletries. I like how you separate them in different bags ie nail polish, makeup, etc. I remember you did a video when you were actual on vacation and went through your makeup bag...maybe you could do that with all the "bathroom" stuff? I never request videos, but this one would really help. :)

Did you say this was for *one* week? Four cases for one week? And 9 dresses for one week? You could have worn the Vegas evening dresses for Pennsylvania too.
Question...would it be cheaper to ship your Pennsylvania items ahead of you so you don't have to pay checked bag fees for them to go to Vegas? Then you could also ship your Vegas bags home in the mail & not have to bring them to Pennsylvania. Then all you would need would be a carry on for the items that may overlap for both trips. Just a thought.

I find it difficult to stay organised during the trip..when some of the clothes have been used and the others have not and you can't put the back with the clean ones. I end up with few plastic bags with no shape and mushing them in the suitcase.

instead of checking your smaller bag with the big bags, you should gate check them. its free and ends up in the belly of the plane anyway
