      Would one having filler interfere with the process? Or getting filler in the meantime?

      Is this preferred to sculptra? Needing botox for masters but also wanting derma fillers in the cheek area due to hollowness. I know you say to stay away from derma fillers so then what treatment is your go to to fill cheek bones

    I’ve had Sculptra in the U.K. ! It’s so so wonderful . After the injections it’s VITAL to massage for at least 5 times a day for 6 weeks to stop granulation lumps ! The results were so brilliant as you gradually see your skin plump up as it regrows it’s own collagen over the 6 week period . I’ve seen people who have not massaged and they got very uneven collagen formation and lots of lumps . It looks so natural and it lasted me years ! After a few years I just have 1 vial to maintain it ! It’s been 10 years now and it’s still beautiful .

    I am so happy I stumbled across this video. I'm 25 but when I was 14 I felt like my face was going to age significantly in my twenties because of these deep lines/indentations running from the inner corners of my eyes down to my cheeks. And that's exactly what it did! I was already 23 my inner face just looked so hollow. The physician I go to recommended I try sculptra when I came in for cheek fillers. I didn't know too much about it but he gave me a good explanation of what it does so I said hey why not. Last week I looked in the mirror and I just kept staring at my face like where did the lines go and then I realized, 6 months. It's been 6 months since I did the treatment and it all started making sense. I will definitely continue going in for sculptra treatments instead of filler this thing is a god send you just have to be patient!!

    • @jessicaleigh3286
      @jessicaleigh3286 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@annacamila_ one session will probably not be enough. I’ve had 5 and can hardly see a difference. I went in for my 6th treatment yesterday and my provider talked me in to getting Radiesse instead. I cannot comment on the results bc I’m still swollen, but from what I can see, there’s not going to be a wow factor. I haven’t given up on sculpture but after 5 sessions of “full” face, I would expect to notice improvements. It’s discouraging because it looks like some people get fantastic results while others flush their money down the drain.

I had gone from 300 lbs (for 18 years) to 173 lbs I lost a lot of facial fat. I looked gaunt, so I put some weight back on 190 lbs and felt better. I had the best results from sculptra 8 years ago, gradual results that stayed for 2 years. However, I don't have courage to do it again, because I'm allergic to lidocaine, so the procedure was completely without anaesthetic and with a cannula. Also, I had nodules in both marionette lines, they were never visible, but felt (massaging didn't work), I found that constant massaging was a very hard work (a vigorous and painful non stop massage which alone may have added some collagen 😆)
    Nodules disappeared after 6 years (this is when I didn't feel them anymore).
    I loved the effect of Sculptra, but I was thinking maybe Plasma injections could give me similar effect, or nothing else builds collagen better than Sculptra?

    • @rajanimdskincare
      @rajanimdskincare  3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Nodules are very very rare with new techniques. Lidocaine is only needed if sterile water used. There are ways to do it without lidocaine. Much has changed. Thanks for watching,

    Collagen builder -typically 40s

    Results happen over time- 6 months
    Sliding of the face-helps holds things up
    Start early to prevent sagging
    In addition to sunscreen /sunglasses

    Quick question..how effective, in your experience, is Sculptra for someone in menopause?? As the body has sadly stopped making a big % of collagen, is the PLLA as effective as in a younger patient? Or would conventional HA fillers be a better choice? However, after using the Botox for a few years, it is pushing down my eyes until they almost look closed. It's horrible. Is there something else i can use instead of Botox for the scowl lines that doesn't cause my eyelids to droop? Help!!! I have another question. Since i hit menopause, the area between my lip and nose is longer and it looks horrible. In the magnifying mirror, i can see small little lip lines starting. I want to get a lip lift, but i need to save. In the meantime, what is the best thing to do? I tried getting a lip flip and i couldn't talk for the whole time the botox was in there and it really didn't look any different. I can't afford a lot. For the temple area do you inject under the muscle while on the cheekbone you recommend injecting on top of the bones. Thank you for all the helpful tips!

For example I never use bellafill under eyes. Some love it. But long term I do not like. Silikon I do not use. Sculptra not for under eyes. HA fillers that I use on my channel all can be great depending on skin type/ dermal thickness and depth

      Angel Nicole it is the opposite. Treating the whole face is key after 50 in lighter skin types especially. One day with fillers you will see. Most people need two per treatment session. Rule of thumb is 1 vial per decade of your life. You will not begin to see the textural changes and volume until about two months. I call this blooming! I also have another doctor, Dr. Parvin Mani whom I trust and have gone to for many years and she charges $550 per vial. For a natural look Sculptra is absolutely the best. It builds your own collagen so do not look at it as a filler. It truly restores youthful collagen. It changes the texture and tone of your skin and adds volume. Results begin to show in 2 months for me, full volume shows up within three to four months. I hope this helps
