You mentioned getting the thread chaser kit on Amazon but which one, name? that wasn't mentioned at the end. Appreciate all the info as I am replacing the pads soon.
When installing the brake line bracket stud source another washer or washers to mimic the thickness of the brake line bracket so you'll know you haven't set the bolt too deep.
I WAS THAT GUY at the track with damaged thread on my 718 GT4! It was a trackway week-end. After the first day, the front pads needed to be replaced. So I did it on the floor with minimal tools and... I damaged the threads on the second knuckle. Luckily, there was a guy with a lot of equipments and the right taper tool. So it was an easy fix as only the first threads were damaged. So I can't recommend stud kits for Porsche calipers
Amazing content as always, just did this myself. Without your videos I don't think I would ever tackle car work 🙏🏼
That’s my goal! Thanks for watching and congrats on a successful install.
Always solid content for gt4 owners!
Did my 21 Spyder a few weeks ago. Easy install and worth the money. Keep up your great content !!
I just got a GTS 4.0. Definitely ordering these to go with my first pad swap.
You are an automotive genius

Not bad advice Robert! Thanks for watching.

Yes, I believe part numbers are same too but verify on Tarett site

Wow!! Glad you got it sorted!
Why would you NOT recommend the studs?
I have stripped that brake line bolt on my 997.2 911!!
will the video and parts apply to a 718 GT4 w/ PCCB calipers??
Double check the Tarett site regarding the part to order but yes I’m pretty sure it’s the same.
Confirmed same, see this chart: cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0555/9576/1828/files/OEM_BCSK_2023.pdf?v=1689371284
About how long did the whole install for both take you?
Maybe an hour each side of the car.
Where did you get the wheel alignment stud?
They are sold at a lot of places…. Suncoast, pelican parts, flat 6 etc
Keep those awesome reviews coming! We sent you an email, please take a look.
We are Ottocast, carplay adapter manufacturer. How can we cooperate with you?
