I struggle with the idea that God would give me a brain and the ability to reason and expect me to use it only to the extent it agrees with the Word. Are we expected to demonstrate blind faith?

We live in 2 worlds, the visible and the unseen worlds. Brain is for the first and faith is for the latter. Now, whatever is unseen/spiritual can effect your brain/reasoning BUT not the other way around.
