This video literally made me cry. My boyfriend was called to serve in Guatemala and he left on August 19, 2015 but I wasn't strong enough to say goodbye. We broke up in March because I couldn't handle the fact that he was leaving. It is my biggest regret and I miss him everyday but I know he is doing amazing things there. This video is truly inspiring and so so happy. Love this strong is so beautiful.
Leaving to serve a mission is one of the scariest things I've ever done....until it was time to come home. That was WAY scarier for me. This is SO SWEET! When I came back from a trip this summer, a boy who had just finished his mission was headed home. He still had another flight when we left each others sight, but I still remember the few words we exchanged. My friends and I were so ready to be home after two weeks of not seeing our family, but I honesty can't imagine being gone for two years! I feel so bad for how pathetic we acted, and think that he probably had a similar welcome home like this. It just makes me think that I need to get to know others and learn their story no matter how short our time together is. It's so cool that you were doing videography at this stage of your life-thank you for sharing!!
Almost 5 years later and this video still makes me tear up!! Wish I had been able to serve a mission, myself, but I love the joy on everyone’s faces in homecoming videos like this. Makes me so proud of the work all missionaries do for our church serving the Lord ❤️

These past few months I've been feeling myself distance from the church little by little; I used to be very close with the missionaries, and other strong members, and the YW but since I've grown apart focusing on school etc and I think this video alone strengthened my testimony and reminded me how important the gospel is in my life. And it also brought back the feelings I've been missing of my genuine wanting to go on a mission. Especially the first scene when Brad got his mission call so thank you
