The Lavender Rhododendron blooming in the background was beautiful! We used to climb the Water Gap on the Pennsy side and the trails were full of Rhododendron, that would be an interesting place for you to see.

I'm so glad you shared the fog rising from the water. It reminds of when I lived with a view very much like that.
Sometimes the fog would come up and surround the hill I lived on, so wonderful and misty. Especially if it happened at night. Occasionally the fog would be engulfeing the hill, except the very top where my home was, and the sun would be shining on me.
A lovely memory...mostly though the fog was in the river valley. Smoke on the water.

I grew up in western PA and never heard of this place. It's beautiful and you caught it at the perfect time with the rhododendrons blooming! Gorgeous, makes me want to take a ride out there with my kids. Thanks for the cool video!

Pennsyltucky, everything outside of Pittsburgh and Philly, the real PA. We have the highest rural population in the country. Been here maybe 10 years ago gorgeous views and we took the turkey path down to the creek.

Gorgeous! Pennsylvania is constantly on our bag-list to visit but every time we start making plans to go, something comes up. We were hoping to vacation there this year, but now that's looking less likely.
Man! The rhododendron there are in full bloom! Holy Moley!

Wow Cliff wow, such a stunning place, I remember watching your other video's with your Family when you hiked the Turkey trail. The beautiful Rhododendrons gave a gorgeous display with so many vibrant colours and that mixed with the view and the beautiful birdsong, just stunning. Thank you so much for sharing this with us even though you were tired. I hope you have had a good rest. x

Next time you are by that way make sure to make arrangements to canoe and camp in the Canyon. There is no finer way to see Pennsylvania's Grand Canyon. Many years ago there was an outfitter there that I would recommend Pine Creek Outfitters. I've been living out in thewest for a long time but want desperately to get back and do Pine Creek again. Thanks for a great memory.

The fog does the same thing in Jim Thorpe;/Lehigh Gorge some mornings, looks like a big soup bowl.

It looks as it has changed a lot since I used to go there 40 or 50 years ago. Me and my father used to fish for Brown trout in Pine creek. Too many tourists nowadays.
