I like to find a machine that rolls lots of 7's. I lay every number on come out and put in a field bet. Like to collect on few on the 2, 3, 11, and 12. Lose a $1 if the no field 5, 6, or 8 hits. Win $3.67 on the lays but lose $1 on field. After point is established, take down all the lay bets except the 4 and 10 and make several place bets, if one of the place bets hit, I take it down. If I hit the 6, then I will put that $1 on the 8 and vice versa. Never leave too much money exposed to the 7. Get out after you win a few dollars and come back later.
