Just had mine done .staples removed and there is tape on…am 80 and have already past my goals in physio..determined and stubborn…yes it’s sore and I had to much burning and swelling..All worth it..Good luck..
Thank you for sharing this video with us. I am going for staple removal tomorrow, two weeks post operation. I feel that everthing is going well, accept a few big hematomas. I started useing HEPAN 500 cream several times a day, and it looks better now.
Question that is not approached: anterior cruciate, there is no more, wh3n I walk ( I’m in the 7th day post op…I feel I can loose my leg backwards when I simulate natural walking helped with my walker….any remarks on this? Thank you
Hi yes absolutely allow for more healing, how does it feel now? and you will need to strengthen the motion with a specific band exercises that I also did to help with this, have you got a stationary bike you can use?
I’m currently 12 days post-op and was interested to see that you had exactly the same issue with thigh pain and not being able to lift your leg as I’ve had. It’s improving slowly now though. Just wish I could sleep! 🤦♀️😂
You are giving me hope and are so inspirational! I am so nervous to have a knee replacement, which I am now a candidate at 58 years old. I am done with the 3 years of annoying pain. Are you still taking pain meds? Is there anything specific you would recommend to ask my surgeon before our visit?
The pain and frustration will only get worse and I think even though painful and worrying once you are on the other side of the surgery, its so much more positive. Awful to say but I've not been happy for 12 months mine got that bad. If you can I would cycle now just on a spin bike for 30 mins 3-4 times a week, ask your surgeon if he will use the robot procedure and also length of stay in hospital. Definitely watch all my videos and keep me posted!
Very inspire with this posting. Thanks mum

I am over 3 weeks post surgery and I am still in pain.
Keep on top of your daily exercises and assess what pain meds you may still need, still early days too, movement is your friend :-)
So am I😢
