National Railway Museum York 10th July 2024

Me and my mum went to visit the National Railway Museum in York. We’ve had a nice time there. We saw lots of trains and the model railway. This video was filmed on Wednesday 10th July 2024. From Josh Hemingway Thewlis Metcalfe.

I’ve but very ticked off with York lately since they gave away the L&YR Class 5, one of my favourite exhibits. Though since they’ve put Henry Oakley on permanent public display and Cheltenham’s making a visit, it might be worth going again.

Hi Josh. Yes I know, they moved the L&YR class 5 to Bury Transport Museum at East Lancashire Railway in Manchester. They’ve finally put Henry Oakley back on display now, especially Cheltenham on display too. It’s still worth going and see some new engines on display. Thanks for watching sir. Best regards Josh

Thank you Dave. Yes it’s great to visit this museum again, especially seen lots of trains and a model railway as well. Also, it’s nice to see Henry Oakley and Cheltenham on display. Cheltenham has been arrived from Mid Hants Railway, because she was steaming and running there. And now Cheltenham is back at railway museum in York on display. Hi Scott. Yes there’s Cheltenham on display at the National Railway Museum in York now. This steam engine has been arrived from Mid Hants Railway. After her last run in Mid Hants Railway. It’s nice to see this steam engine back at NRM in York again, because this steam loco belongs to railway museum. So there you go. Thanks for watching bud. Cheers Josh
