Papa owns an XRM 125 Motard and I plan to use it as my starter bike as well. Tried to maneuver it to get a feel of the motorcycle and I got to say it's super beginner-friendly. Glad I stumbled upon this vid. Subscribed!

Never owned this bike but this has to be one of the best underbone motorcycles I've tried. It's light, easy to maneuver, and enjoyable to drive. Plus, you get the Honda reliability. This would be a very nice first bike for those who are planning to enter the motorcycle world especially here in the Philippines (broken roads and all).
Trust me coming from a XRM 125 rider its one of the best , you wont regret getting one
This is the ultimate budget ADV motorcyle for the Philippines. Beefier tires, konting Lift, Luggage options and various mounts libot pinas na and puedeng everyday motorbike. Para sa mga taong di afford and Honda ADV 150.
Honda should launch this in India there are many riders who take their scooter off road.
Currently using Click 150i pero I still missed riding with our XRM 110. You have the power and comfort sa Click pero iba parin ang unang nakasanayan kong motor which is yung XRM namin na 2006 model pero still kicking.
Na miss ko tuloy yung xrm110 na 2006 model ko nabenta ko kasi walang pera pambayad sa skwelahan
Still riding my 2003 xrm110...almost 19 yrs na and still running good....all guages are working...tumakbo na ng 110,000 kilometers at humahataw pa din side by side sa mga bagong motor...haha

Proven and tested Honda talaga pang matagalan. Our XRM that we bought 2012, sobrang lakas pa din ng hatak. . Carburetor pa yun. Planning to buy an XRM soon!
Thank you for the very good semi English review. I want to pick up a cheap bike for the province areas of Bohol. The little 14" tires on true scooters scared me. This with the bigger tires looks a lot better for there, and should ride much smoother. TY Boss!
I wish the US would import these. A 125 CC street legal, utilitarian beater that would be a blast to ride and explore on. Perfect for rural areas with slow roads. We have the CT and Monkey, but I feel like this one could be beaten to heck on dirt roads and trails without a hint of remorse when it gets scratched. It has that dirt bike vibe and I bet the seat is a lot more comfortable than my CT125

If the engine spesification is exactly the same with Indonesian bike that the name is supra x 125/ supra x 125 helm in, so as a user of that bike, all I can say is that the bike is not too good for its climbing ability. But the third gear is very strong and long. The third gear can star from 45 km to almost 100 km/ h and it needs to change to 4th gear
Just bought this model of MC and it costs 73,000+. But I don't have any regrets when I purchase this model because it's very friendly to use and very fast.

the best are honda xrm and yamaha mio sporty! They are both OUTSTANDING concerning handeling and balance, another big advantage is you have the light on the head
Thanks, great review. On a recent visit I rented one in Bohol and Duma. The Bohol bike took me almost 200 km for 2 litres. I did hilly rides and I generally never get passed. I loved it, amazing coming from Canadian bikes where 200 km is +/-10 litres. I am retiring there in May and it is between purchasing the XRM or XR 150. Any opinions/advice would be lovely. I don't care about purchase price but I do prefer to burn less fuel, just for environmental reasons.

@@winiepoo6797 Rented many different bikes/scooters. I need to find a home base first when I retire there next month. The XRM with the engine guard will be my first bike, for dirt road adventures. I think my second bike will be a Honda Adv 160, for longer mostly pavement and 2 up rides.

@@winiepoo6797 Hey Mate, yes I bought one about 3 weeks ago, top version with dual disc brakes, 76 K, white with red accents. Pros: I love the look. Cheap to buy, cheaper to run 65 Km/litre. Super fun and light, goes anywhere. Good riding position. Plenty of power 1 up, not so much 2 up. Same with suspension, good for one, too soft for 2. Very utilitarian, not posh (pro or con? you decide). Cons: 4 speed downshifting is very challenging to be smooth esp 2 down to 1. Everyone talks about max hp at 7,500 rpm but no way of finding out what speeds that correlates to in each gear, no tach of course. Even the Honda people don't know. Seat is very firm, I added an extra cushion. Not great for longer distances, better for around town and shorter rides. Not the ideal touring bike. The Honda AVD 160 would be ideal for touring but it costs over twice as much, ideally you would have one of each. LOL I always wear a helmet. If you don't wear a helmet obviously you think that your brain is not valuable, and if you think that then you are correct. Personally I like my brain just how it is, as a Doctor I have seen people in a persistent vegetative state!! Neither dead nor alive.

I used to work at honda dealership back when xrm was 110cc. It was once the king of underbone. Funny that this was made off road pero sobrang uso noon ang lowered/ modified. 😂
XRM 125 was my first bike. Compared to this, ours was a primitive machinery that belonged to the museum. Kinda want to try this new version with all the upgrades. Nice review MotoDeal!

XRM user here. I bought mine last 2006 tapos 110 cc lang to pero until now ganda parin ng takbo. Nalubog na to sa baha nung Ondoy pero konting linis lang ang katapat ok na ulit.
Rs 125fi and xrm 125fi same sila mga mahina ang akyatan dapat nang ganyan city drive. Lang may ganyan ako pangit pag longride

9 years na XRM Motard ko with more than 700K odometer. Matibay talaga siya pero bitin lang sa bilis.

Total odo: 3675.6 km as of now.
Well said about provincial roads, the bike can take it. All stock. Mind that my ride is 1month and 2 weeks old as of now.
Stock tire padin po ba gamit nyo hindi po ba madulas?

The skid plate on the previous model is steel and the 2021 is plastic so i think steel is better

How is the dsx on paved roads? Are the tires ok?
Yes, they make a bit of noise but they work well. They are not sport tires and I am careful on corners, especially in the wet/rain.
