At the very beginning of her performance you can feel she's tensed and nervous but after one or two songs you can feel the magic again just like the old days. She's electric. Like when she's performing everyone's holding their breath and you only look at her. I love how she's giving so much credit to the dancers and make them look good and I live this performance cuz after all she's been through and what ppl say she has proven she still has it and magic can happen again. This woman is hard working, undeniably beautiful, sweet southern gal with a huge heart. She needs a hell lot of love and support and her children. I respect her, grew up watching her evolution. She’s had it rough, the glitz and glamorous life is nice but for her it’s about her family.
Part of why this is so hard to watch for some people - at least for me - is that we remember how dynamic and confident she was for years. She wasn't an amazing singer or anything, but when she would perform, she had a spark that you couldn't deny. In this performance, she's got moments of that, but there are times when she doesn't look confident in her movement, like she's rushing to hit her mark, or she's checking her balance when she moves her feet. I don't care that the choreography isn't what it used to be, or that she's not 19 anymore. When I watch her now, I just think "Is she even enjoying this?"
I agree with you, I think there are two reasons for it, her current choreo is hectic mess and she performs in high heels. In her heyday she often wore sport shoes while performing, even now in her rehearsal videos she does much better when in flats than when put on stage in heels. I wish for one time she’d wear covering clothing and flats, I think we would see much more confidence and fluidity in her dance moves.

This!! I was just rewatching some of her performances from this time and looking back it's crazy how critical everyone has always been of her. She was working her a*s off all those years and only complying with literal (legal) SLAVERY so that she could still have custody rights of her boys... and now they've had the audacity... although, I don't blame them. I blame Kevin - he's the one who allowed them to go (just 1 son actually) on 60 Minutes and speak out against their mother. That was a different kind of low that just hit way closer to her that was pure evil (IMO). Whether she still enjoys herself or not, I think it’s undeniable she’s amazing as a performer. I’m not sure her anxiety could handle that… I think she needs to focus on continuing to fight this conservatorship and then (if she wants) release a documentary exposing all the people that did her wrong. Then she could write a book. I would think she’d want something different after lip syncing the same songs half naked since she was 17.
a lot of the haters on here need to realize, this is out of her comfort zone. when her fans see her show, they realize what they are getting. they know she is gonna lip-sync/sing over the track and we've all learned to accept that. with that being said, she performed in front of fans, non-fans, potential fans and everything in between. For someone who is extremely emotionally fragile and suffers from anxiety, that is a lot of pressure. you can clearly see how nervous she is in the beginning and once she realizes that its ok and she's doing great, she starts killing it. just show the girl some love, she's been through a lot and we should be building her up, not tearing her down. she did great! i loved it! she's never gonna dance like she "used to" (major knee injury, 2 kids, 2007 mess), but she's pretty damn close. thats all that matters.

thats absolutely not the case. they are more concerned with time management and making sure she is comfortable enough to know the choreography and blocking for the performance. the track is the last thing on their minds. they just want to make sure she's okay mentally and physically to perform. its not a secret that she lip-syncs, so for her team, re-recording new vocals isn't necessarily a priority. i agree that they should re-record the vocals, but its just not gonna happen.

Britney's peak performances were in 2003. Sadly, we won't be able to see her perform live like she did before on her early 20s since doing so reminds her of the traumas inflicted by her own family. This woman is hard working, undeniably beautiful, sweet southern gal with a huge heart. She needs a hell lot of love and support and her children. I respect her, grew up watching her evolution. She’s had it rough, the glitz and glamorous life is nice but for her it’s about her family.
Part of why this is so hard to watch for some people - at least for me - is that we remember how dynamic and confident she was for years. She wasn't an amazing singer or anything, but when she would perform, she had a spark that you couldn't deny. In this performance, she's got moments of that, but there are times when she doesn't look confident in her movement, like she's rushing to hit her mark, or she's checking her balance when she moves her feet. I don't care that the choreography isn't what it used to be, or that she's not 19 anymore. When I watch her now, I just think "Is she even enjoying this?"
I agree with you, I think there are two reasons for it, her current choreo is hectic mess and she performs in high heels. In her heyday she often wore sport shoes while performing, even now in her rehearsal videos she does much better when in flats than when put on stage in heels. I wish for one time she’d wear covering clothing and flats, I think we would see much more confidence and fluidity in her dance moves.

a lot of the haters on here need to realize, this is out of her comfort zone. when her fans see her show, they realize what they are getting. they know she is gonna lip-sync/sing over the track and we've all learned to accept that. with that being said, she performed in front of fans, non-fans, potential fans and everything in between. For someone who is extremely emotionally fragile and suffers from anxiety, that is a lot of pressure. you can clearly see how nervous she is in the beginning and once she realizes that its ok and she's doing great, she starts killing it. just show the girl some love, she's been through a lot and we should be building her up, not tearing her down. she did great! i loved it! she's never gonna dance like she "used to" (major knee injury, 2 kids, 2007 mess), but she's pretty damn close. thats all that matters.

thats absolutely not the case. they are more concerned with time management and making sure she is comfortable enough to know the choreography and blocking for the performance. the track is the last thing on their minds. they just want to make sure she's okay mentally and physically to perform. its not a secret that she lip-syncs, so for her team, re-recording new vocals isn't necessarily a priority. i agree that they should re-record the vocals, but its just not gonna happen.
