As someone that worked there for years pre covid but hasn't been back since, it's always interesting to see how it changes. Also, Tuttles are in the sea (have flippers) and Tortoise are on the land (have feet)
I have such lovely memories of Wicksteed. My grandfather worked there during the late 50s / early 60s and lived in one of the houses at the back of the park behind the old water shoot ride.
Fun video, wicksteed looks a lot better than it did last year, those Meerkats were so funny around Andys Ball, When it comes to things like the soft play area, it’s a shame they can’t do exceptions for Autism
Some do, I think, but it's more of a health and safety issue than anything. Of they start letting one person in, then there's a risk that all can come in, and as most of us all know, not all adults have good intentions with kids.
If you’re ever down south-east massively suggest Druisilla’s… it seems like it’s basically a bigger versions of wickstread (more rides, more animals and more play area) I’m 15 and still enjoy the odd visit!!
I love working at wicksteed for the summer. It's been a lot of fun, I would urge people local to apply and try out :) The big wheel is opening on the 27th of May, as well!
Theme park Reccomendations I know you said not to mention Legoland, but I do reccomend Legoland in Billund, in fact, the ENTIRE TOWN of Billund (Denmark) as it was where Lego was born. If you do go back to the Netherlands, Efteling is one I wholly reccomend, especially as the park is basically Disney but back to its European routes. The Fairytale forest is also a beautiful part of the park too. As.for UK theme parks, Chessington and Flamingo Land come to mind. Lonleat would be also what I would reccomend for the two of you.
West Midland Safari Park, Drusilla's Park, and any of the various diggerlands are fun. I think wheelgate park is in your general area too. And there is Robin Hill on the Isle of Wight.
This is amazing. I told the guys at Wicksteed Park that I'll let them know when I'm coming as like everyone else I gave the guys at this amazing theme park lots of support
Pleasurewood Hills in Lowestoft. It's probably pretty far from where you live. It has 2 Trains a massive Wave Swinger like Andys Favourite Ride. There's a great bird show and sea lion show.
Give pleasurewood hills a go. It's got interesting history, an old affiliation with noel Edmunds and Mr blobby. Could bundle a weekender with the pleasure beach at Yarmouth as well
those rabbits are Flemish Giants. A very big breed alot of people keep as pets and you see them in a lot of children's zoos because they're so friendly!
as is ever dent from this video i gather you are animal lovers so might i suggest that after some reserch there is a theme park in deven called the big sheep apparently it's a amusement farm park
I don't know if this theme park is too far away but crealy adventure park is great and teens and adults can go in the soft play too and have fun it also has lots of good rides and animals the other theme park that is good is digger land just lots of digger rides very fun place
Not a theme park but Hamerton would be good for you and Anna also you can do the raptor place between Huntington and Bury on same day and see the birds

Have you tried the place in Matlock Kev? Think it’s maybe Matlock bath. Fun place to visit too. Great content as always. D

Great video Kev, wondering does Andy still hate getting his hair cut? Do you have to cut it for him or do the new house sort it?
