Thorsten's Ridge couldn't been played by no one else but him. RONN tarnished Ridge character so much by blindly sliding with Brook and the Hoegans on so many occasions even when they were wrong. This is the Ridge we see that slowly starts to develop more into a REAL FATHER and not just Brooke whipping boy. First he is here defending his daughter who he knows instantly is breaking down into her heartbreak. Just like he knew instinctively that Bill had preyed upon Steffy at the guesthouse and he knows now that Bill would only break her down into what he wanted her to be. I found it compelling that Steffy started to dress dark again after the night and no one noticed and once she and Liam started to make a new home for Kelly she lightened up and so did her wardrobe. Ridge seen clearly that Steffy was sinking into a dark place. And I love that what he was doing for Steffy and Kelly during this time he is now doing for Thomas and Douglas. 😎🥰🥰🥰

Ridge and Katy knew instantly that Bill had preyed on Steffy. Steffy was completely horrified to find Bill in the bed with her when she awoke and so shaken when she got home. She was trying to tell Liam but he's so oblivious he couldn't see the distress she was in and foolishly pushed her into this vow renewal setup. JMW's acting was superb throughout this whole mess of a storyline.
