Some information regarding the airport: -In 2018 it had 47 million passengers but it only has a capacity of 32 million. -The new airport got canceled on January 2019 due to the new government who made a “public consultation” in October 2018 in which people voted no to the airport. -Instead, there will be a second airport built for Mexico City 50 km north of the city in the Santa Lucía AFB. The current airport will be remodeled meanwhile. However, the second airport protect has no research or approval from any major organizations and it is halted by judicial blockings.
Nice video. Rare to do a SW takeoff at Mexico City. I've taken about 70 flights out and I'd say about 5% of them were SW and the others all out the other way.
@@franzama south westerly.. due to the Mexico City airport being hot and high the 787-9 has takeoff performance issues regarding tailwinds. The proximity to Popo can be an issue too, hence they tend to go out to the North West
it will be my firts time flying with BA to London, to connect to Paris, from Mexico City. How much will it cost me to get an upgrade to Premium Economy, how´s the service on board, is it a safe airline...?
MIKE GILLARD ha ha ha I don’t think so lovely when that area is crowded it’s worst than a hen house! And no AC! And no view outside! Also water leaks are very common as well as broken ceilings and floor tiles.

I have lost count of the number of times, I have heard passengers being called because they are delaying a flight. Amsterdam Schipol springs to mind.
Three hours beforehand is standard for me.
That's what airlines want to see, passengers arriving in plenty of time, to check in, clear security & passport control.
