    I have an assignment due in 3 hours and I was losing my mind wondering how I could create a box girder with a variable depth. Thankfully, I stumbled upon this. Thank you so much.

      @@DenariPixel Please I have a challenge. When I load the family to my project, I can not seem to set the beam's host to a reference place in my project. I am only able to set it's host to a level. My Bridge has a Profile grade, so the beam has to be on a slope.

    Hi bro,
    I dont know how to make the beam you modeled to behave like a truss beam. I am saying that because i have to model a similar truss beam and export it from revit to a fem model.
    Thank you for sharing your knowledge

      Sorry for the late reply. I don’t think rebut is good for modelling adaptive trusses. Also, what’s an fem model?

    28:05 why did we create that line and aligned it and locked it? why is it important tho?

    • @DenariPixel
      @DenariPixel  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you for your question. That line is a ‘course line’. In plan view on drawings, we like to show beams as lines, rather than 3d elements. We later change the line to be visible in ‘course’ mode only. And make the 3D elements only available in ‘fine’ mode. I hope that helps
