I love Matsutomo and Takahashi. Every time China comes up with an incredible pairing to take the spotlight, this Japanese pair always work so hard to improve their play to dominate their position again and again. I also like that the Japanese coaches don't split their doubles players up upon losses. China's national coaches should probably try to nurture the women's doubles they have paired and work on improving their game instead of splitting up partnerships for the best winning results. I can see Jia and Chen having to split soon with the little success they've been encountering. 💪
It not like Japanese national coach dont want to split a pair if the partnership is not working, it just that they cant do it as they wish. All player in Japan play under the flag of their companies. One the reason to split the pair if one of the player decided to tranfer to the other companies or decided to become profedsional. That is also the reason why Japan hardly produce very hood and competitive XD since some companies consist only male or female player.
Matsumoto is possibly one of the best double players in the history. She has the rare combination of creative shots, master of net play, speed and laser focus. Not to discount the attacking strength of Takahashi the 🔨 at the back, but the front net player is the game changer.
Yeah and Matsutomo keep evolving as the front court and the back court player.

Matsumoto and her partner always spreads positive effort and personality in the court, their psikology are great. They never express stressfull or mad during the match

Chinese players, this is a game of badminton, not shouting. Please learn how to play badminton better, not drama. I am a Chinese but feels embarrassing and shame what you always did in the games. The Japanese women players always did the best in each games whatever they won or lost. I totally respects their spirit and humble attitude.
Not every Chinese player yell and shout badly. Chen Qingchen is probably the worst one. She often yells and shouts unnecessarily all the time. There was one time when she won over Shida/Matsuyama she was lying on the ground beating the floor while yelling. I find that very disrespectful and rude. She also had one incident where in Tokyo Olympics she yelled the f word every single point which she later apologized. This pair is nasty.
Interesting to see Chen and Jia as the young guns 💪 from 2024 😂 when they are the dominant veterans
