surprised that the Mack Anthem is not that popular, it is really great to drive in my opinion and the dashboard is beautiful. It is my favorite one so far.
Pro tip: the 9900i, 5700XE, and VNL 2014 can still be purchased brand new from the dealership if you already have one (under “My Fleet Configurations”). I would love to see more tuning packs released for the older trucks, like the 9900i, 389, and upcoming Mack Pinnacle. One can hope!

my personal opinion the cascadia is pretty decent truck , decent power ,great saftey features, but i like the looks of the w900 but every time i put mods on it or try to enter kenworth shop mthe game crashes any help would be great since i love this sim truck game
Just traded my w900 in for a Cascadia. The tuning pack for the w900 is great and you can have a nice looking show truck, but i just hate driving it for long periods. Prefer better visibility and handling or aero trucks. Although the end poll results are tempting me to switch now to a Lonestar.
I always found it interesting that american trucks are so much larger then european, while having weaker engines. The strongest truck in ATS is Kenworth W900/Peterbilt 579 both with 625HP, while the strongest truck in ETS2 is Volvo FH with 750HP
Another mistake is that the Cascadia actually does have Blind Spot Monitoring. It makes a different beeping sound then the sound heard in the other trucks with blind spot monitoring.
The 389 imo is best all around truck atm in ATS, I suspect in near future, SCS will add 589. Can’t say I’m great fan of it. 389/W900 are still my favourite trucks. The two minor issue with new W900 100th anniversary is SCS kinda fucked up digital screen showing speed/cruse control/gear your in. They made digital screen too small now along smaller fonts. Hard to read now vs old w900. Also hate no longer can get 300 gallon tanks. Hate can only get 300 gallon tanks using SCS cat engine. It’s engine sounds are horrible vs anything from ZEES engine mods, like he’s N14 commons, CAT c15 MBN/ Cat c16. SCS should just hired Zees, his engine mods are best imo. Cus he records from real trucks.
Stats don't tell the full story, as always. Personally I find the W900 horrendous to drive even though on paper it has the best stats in most fields. On the other hand, the 9900i which is supposed to be the "worst" truck in the game stats-wise is one of my favorite to drive based on handling, general interior feel, the lack of use for sub-par chassis options (who needs a 6x2 or an 8x4...??) and not being bothered by not-so-necessary technological features such as a built-in GPS or a digital dashboard. In short, very nice compilation of stats here, but at the end of the day, as with all things in life take it all with a grain of salt and drive what you like regardless of performance. My personal favorites are the 49X (SBA variant), Lonestar, 9900i and 5700XE, and I wouldn't trade those for 10 units of each and any of the others.
Even though I’m a Peterbilt guy , the Kenworth W900 currently is the best in the game because the possibilities with tuning it to your liking …. I hope they’ll take it even further in the future …. Like having it influence our gameplay , bigger diesel tanks to increase the range ,improving the d downtime of stopping to refuel to often . Bringing in Legacy Custom sleepers , which we can use to spawn an almost rest everywhere option . Offroad tires and winches for those who like logging jobs and to tow friends in convoy out sticky situations . Interior custimizations More LED lights in RGB Color’s Truck wash with real dirt , the option to repair our rigs at our headquarters Seasons and dynamic weather , terrain manipulation ( like snowrunner in certain places ) There’s Tons of things I can come up with … Which still would keep it a trucking sim than some kind of the Sims over the top requests people constantly ask ….

Without a mod to make the mirrors closer, it can be annoying to drive.
@@ryanz486 9900i has same problem, but it's more popular
Also shitty hp unfortunately

Inter Lonestar has no 8x6 chassis
@@clouded_albert Yes it does
w900, pete 389 and the 9900i are my three favorite scs game trucks. I've always liked the older-style trucks.
Western Star 49X is my favorite truck
My new favorite truck is the T680 Next Gen.
Indeed
I like all of them
It feels weird that these bigger American trucks have less powerful engines compared to the smaller European trucks
U.S. drivers drive longer distances so fuel economy is a huge factor.
I think all ats trucks are good enough
Very good comparison
the vnl 2014 can be purchased in the dealers
Will you do a video of this again when all the parts for the T680 come out?
Yes I will :)
@@AP_101 thanks :)

It’s for driver comfort
LoneStar is a great truck to Begin in the game but yeah Kenworth and Mack are in the top tier in my preferences
There is one mistake. The W900 came out in 2016 and was reworked in 2023.
I mean kinda. Because there is nothing left of the original so it's not really wrong
@@Swing-powerThe mistake is AP put release date to 2016 for Kenworth T680 Next Gen

Nice!!
I find it funny that all Western Stars have the same sound😂 I hope they change them later🤔
They all have the same Detroit Diesel 13, 15 and 16 litre engines so its accurate I guess

That would be awesome but most of that stuff would have to come down to licensing
2:24 there's an error with kenworth T680 next gen and W900 I think
Peterbilt 389 best
Lone star 😢😢
People dont like it cos its ugly but its a very good truck in terms of specifications.
My favorite in ATS is W900 and 57X
It's all front-wheel drive since the transmission doesn't work the rear wheels.
All trucks in ATS are rear wheel drive
W900.
ok
It's OK for now.
