- Tales from the Crypt Premium (Data East 1993) by the VPW mod team has quickly become one of my favourite tables. Everything happens at breakneck speed with slim margins for error but also with great strategic options. VPW's reactive and tactile flipper physics and ball interaction is a joy to experience, as it makes you feel like you can be in full control of the ball (more than any other VPX table I've ever played before). It is hard to stop playing once you get going... only one more game! Up until the Crypt Jam this was a near perfect game, but I was so relieved that I finally got there, that the rest of the game just fizzled out.

My basic aim with any tips and strategy gameplay video I post is to help the viewer improve his skill in the game and on the specific table. I do this by identifying the safest and most efficient strategy to follow to play through the modes and to reach and beat the wizard mode. This is admittedly not always the most efficient way to achieve a high score, but once you understand the table, including which shots and modes are worth it or not, it puts you in the position where you can concentrate on what you have identified as the best approach to reaching a high score.

Huge fan of the VPW Mods! They really know how to make some great tables!
Love this table, the lights are too bright though.
One of my favorite tables. Since that version, VPW has improved it a lot. It now looks and play better than ever.

@@PinStratsDan I own this machine.. if only I could just download a mod and change some settings. More likely cost me 300 bux in LEDs
Mine is overly bright. I turned down Light Emission as much as I can but it's still really bright. How did you get yours to have more contrast?
I didn't do anything specific i.e. left it on base settings. Maybe you need to adjust some settings on your monitor?
that's the only way to play that on PC ?

Over the Years , I've owned TFTC 3 or 4 times .. Once I bought from the original owner .. Wish I had 1 of them back ,, Very Hard to find now , Especially for what I paid ,, $ 1k to 1400 ,,
It is really a great table and not one that I will tire of quickly. I've only played it with the custom ROM which seems to have improved the gameplay quite a bit. I wonder if I would have liked it as much on the standard ROM?
