I just discovered you guys, and assumed you all had to be a 100,000+ subscriber channel, and I was astonished to see y'all only got 10,000. From the quality of workmanship, being able to build something very unique time and time again while being memorable, but also in the quality and care taken with making the videos. Excellent work my friends, you earned my subscription. Oh and if you want to sell that Caddy just let me know, I love that thing
Back in 1980. I was in a rescue group across the border from the state of Texas we had a 64 Cadillac Ambulance, it was a strong fast beast , sadly in 1984 mostly every one got married and the group disappeared, and where did the Ambulance end up at WHO KNOWS, and now that is Sad.
i have to say that the BD 500 looks like a blast. wish the vehicle i learned to drive on still existed. it would be hilarious to do on such an event. Sadly i don't think there is anything like it here in Ohio. (in case you were wondering said vehicle was an old mid '50s US Army duece and a half truck. her hood was missing the floorboards were stop signs and the bed was just old plywood. the tranny was shot only have 1st 2nd and maybe 3rd with no reverse and stuck in 6x6 drive. the old girl was a farm runner used by my late Great uncle. mostly just for gather hay bales and such. it did have a makeshift crane on the back as well (all muscle powered, no winches for us though there was a come-a-long mounted on it just in case.))
Hey guys justin here (the first recovery for dreadnaught) in the brown grand marquis. Awesome video, this makes me excited for next year's event!! I'm hoping to have something for next year that will conquer the mud pits :)
Dreadnought!! Cool as Balls! If it was me I would upgrade it and make it the Ultimate Dreadnought. Failing that I would have to at least take it a offroad trip with your mates missed out on the run too. Also more CAT! :P
That Cadford is a towing beast. As for those who throw a fit over using a Ford under the Caddy, just point out that Cadillac was originally started by Henry Ford and he sold out his shares to his investment partners who renamed it Cadillac. In fact the original 1903 Ford and the 1903 Cadillac looked almost identical and body parts could be interchanged between them.
If Dreadnought was mine, I think she'd get a coat of paint and the rear frame shortened like you originally planned but ran out of time to do. Then I'd use it as a "daily driver" because it's so cool.
The Caddy is too cool...finding out it's Ford powered makes it even cooler! Looks like a fun event! When is the next one planned for? This looks like something I would like to participate in.
Thank you, these events are fantastic. Future dates are not yet finalized for 2023. Keeping an eye on their FB page is the best way to get notified. Thier are also other Gambler events in different states as well.
Its a fitting combo since Henry Ford was the main creator/founder of what was to become Cadillac upon his departure. Easily verified with online search
How does one get info on participating? I’m a ways west of Prince George. Didn’t know this existed until I saw your videos. (I’m not on the book of Face)
@@DawgstripProductions well, guess I’ll never go if the only way is through Facebook. I was hoping for a phone number, or an email even. Heck, even an address to send a hand written letter too… I promise not to use cursive so a millennial can read it.
@@DawgstripProductions excellent dudes know anything is Washington state's is a little far away from me I live in Virginia on the East Coast if you look at the map Norfolk Virginia so it's a little hard to get out there for that event I wish I could
9:25 Was that Hunter from HeavyDSparks TH-cam channel?? He built a turd that looked very much like that, and the police made him get it off the road really quickly. Spoiler alert, nobody went to jail. With this beast of a Ford/Cadillac hybrid, I think you guys should keep it. Maybe consider getting rid of the one tire fryer, swap out to a two tire fryer gear in the rear end, and because you have the luxury of a ford truck chassis, engine, and drive train, MAYBE you could convert it into a proper 4X4. I would love to see this beast make another Gambler Run in 2023.
So when you say pick up Trail trash are you literally talking trash or are you talking a distant cousin to trailer park trash I suppose there's room for interpretation
I'm only crying a little about those cars. A viking funeral indeed. That brave little civic is a hero.
man that is wicked

Thank you, glad you enjoy! We're just doing our own thing and learning as we go.
@@DawgstripProductions you are doing an excellent job
I’m calling it now: the Dreadnought is about to enter the halls of iconic TH-cam cars.
that looks like the coolest event ever :D
It's one of our favorites!
10:10 Had to pause it there the moment I saw a Red-Green...
WHY am I not surprised?
His get up was great! He drove the shortened red crew cab ford.
I love your Cadillac I would love to have the opportunity to buy that that is so cool
Finally the Canada we know and love.
Muy divertido ese evento la verdad jajaaaa
saludos desde Monterrey NL México
Saw you in kamloops. You were getting gas next to us. Looks like you guys were having fun.

I remember back in the day in the early seventies my dad had a green Ford LTD and it had the 460 engine

Id leave the bumper where it is and do a continental kit style spare tire on it..
I need more dreadnought!
So Much Fun.
ok how has this channel not blown up yet
Dreadnought FAILED, you must run it on the Gambler again.
I dig the fact that you put a caddy body on a Ford Chassis what about the possibility of making it a four wheel drive?

You know what would be cool a caterpillar engine swap it the caddy!!😎👍💗
Nice! What's the plan for the next Gambler? Fix the Dreadnought, or something new entirely?
bad stat this year, but its worth keeping for the next really!
Graat vid, what is rhe dreadnought tagged and registered as? Caddie?
I would love to do this event
Highly recommended. New events and locations are always popping up. Look for one near you!

The BC Gambler is mostly organized through FB. There is two events for 2023, one of which will be Mud Bogs at 100 Mile horse power ranch.

What happens to these cars you build? Im new to the channel and i see so many builds for the small space i see?
You know they do have a gambler in Oregon in the if you like that kind of event you might want to try doing the US version of The Gambler 500
We have done the WA Gambler a few times and we'll be heading to the Oregon Gambler next month.

Looks like a lot of fun and booze
I liked the CyberTruck. I wonder if it was electric.
Nah, was a chevy chassis I believe. The body was built of plywood and 2x4's.
Kamloops, I hate the hills
