Oh one small thing - if I'm watching this on my phone it can be hard to see the red dot - is there a slightly larger cursor available with the software you're using?
Thank you! I'm not quite sure if viewers want to watch each game or just see how to attack each match up just yet 😅, so I really appreciate your response
@@ExileWargaming I can't speak for others but I would certainly have been interested in seeing how the first game played out in full. Though I suppose that was already a relatively long video for you!
@benkeeling8775 it got scooped up pretty quick haha. I don't even believe I got photos after his turn 2. And yea, that video felt like it took HOURS! I was actually relieved the first game was so short 😅
Thank you for the great battle reports! I'm new to the game and Aeldari, but I love the format you've taken with your battle reports. Taking pictures and then summarizing the events that took place is much faster and in my opinion more informative for the viewer than just recording the game for 2-3 hours with no commentary. Ain't no one got time for that!
Only been doing Quins since 10th came out. If you really want to challenge your self take this list and see what you can do with it. Also take fixed objectives every time. You are able to manipulate the fate dice when you need and can use the movement and getting back in the boats at the end of combat to really push clearing obj but staying safe. Only 7 unit cards to remember. 1 DJ, 1 Soliaire, 2 Shadowseer, 3 troupe master 1 of them warlord, 6 troupe 5 man teams 2 plasma, 2 neuro, 1 sword, 6 star weavers, 3 full squads of skyweavers. Take storm hostile and deploy homers. Not sure what they are called now. Just play to score those and use the bikes to over load and pick up threats and the bodies to score. Happy Gaming.
This is awesome, thanks for your videos! Really help with tactics. Would have been interesting to see another match where they got first turn. Even if you hang back far enough to stop their first turn charges it seems it would then be nearly impossible to then push them back enough to get to those primaries. For more CW focused armies I'm also thinking it might be possible to build first turn Heroic Intervention traps against these charge focused armies. Put Yvraine's troupe as far to the front as possible and if you go second use either an infiltrate or scout unit to screen hers, bait out the first turn charge and then countercharge with Strike first. Just a pity that Jain Zar and her Banshees hit like wet noodles, Yvraine+troupe is basically the only strike first unit Eldar have that hits hard enough against something like Blood Angels to be worth doing this with.
Thank you! And yes! First turn heroic is the answer for going second I believe. If they don't take the bait and we deploy yvraines unit just out range we can phantasm for a little extra movement and hopefully get some aggression on our turn 1. There are so many tricks with this unit on the new maps. Can't wait to see what everyone figures out!
Yo! I have played tau a few times but no video just yet. That one should be pretty easy to set up. To be honest I kind of forgot about them 😅. Watch me get crushed now that I said that... haha
@everettcolby8976 I struggle with this question everytime I write a list haha. My general thoughts: -If using a 4 man squad, always bolas and Fire and fade a couple times. -If I'm running pure harlequins I like the glaives on the 2 man squads to help with melee or clean up trash units. -If I'm using them as early objective holders, screening, or move blocking, I like Star Bolas. It just depends on what you are using them for. I try to designate roles for each unit in each list and skyweavers are like a flex spot I use to fill the gaps. If that makes sense?
Absolutely! Thank you so much! That’s a big help! I have another question, could you take a look at my 1000 point list? I have a solitare, death jester, shadowseer (using an index that has modified shadowseer rules), 2 troupe masters, 3 troupes, 2 skyweavers, and 2 starweavers. Any suggestions?
This format rocks. Keep it up :)

Another great video! I love that you include your mistakes and really appreciate you including your first loss instead of just your victories!!

🤣 thank you! Sometimes those long battle reports are a chore for sure
Luv it! Long time Eldar player... Started a Harlequin army because of you and your vids! Thanks man.
Thanks man! I appreciate you. Have fun, they're a blast!
Dude hell ya!! Can’t wait to watch!
Thanks for encouraging me to put it up! Would've been a nightmare if I released it before talking in the discord. 🙏

@@AscendedFox always special weapons

I can’t decide whether to use glaves or bolas. Any suggestions?

Why can’t you phantasm and then do heroic intervention?
@@antoniolorenzucci it specifically states on the phantasm stratagem that you cant 😅
Can you explain for the noob I am, what is pariah nexus ? The last rules update and dataslate, right ?
Yup! For most of 10th edition we've been using leviathan missions and maps.
Why are you just using an 11 man troupe unit instead of 12?
Just points! We still get all the special weapons at 11 though.

The best kind of comment!
