The vibe of the English is way too different. May be I watch it too many times in Chinese but Butterfly I think is still better. This one is great marketing to kids but it doesn't feel as deep emotionally.

If your talking about editing it’s much better then the original which is just the Japanese opening animation with some digi rap. My guess is you didn’t watch the original as a kid due to either you being not born/too young or you just never watch it until you were older. Tamers is like what, 7 years after this show finished? No one would care for that shit since they wouldn’t have seen that show because they were in middle school at that point and grew out of digimon.
