- Blood and tears...they were here first. The 8th house rules sex, death, rebirth, and taxes? lol it's the house that revolves around your deeply intimate relationships/partnerships. Whereas the 7th house is partnerships that can be temporary or in the beginning stages. The 8th is about bonds that are formed on a deeper level.
Having these placements have caused me to live a life that is quite solitary not in that I'm not around people and engaging, but that there are few who are living in the 8th house, who can truly relate to the energy that is felt here. There are fewer chances of finding those who are able to live in that dark, be that open or vulnerable in the way that an 8th house person needs in order to feel understood, and in turn, feel alive.
And so, you live a lot of your life internally, hidden (8th house is hidden) from others as well as yourself. If you have this placement you are not alone, you are understood. I understand the deep burning and intense yearning to meet one other soul who wants to experience sex, death and regeneration like you desire, as this is what the 8th house is all about. No more hide and seek with yourself. Recognize all the parts of yourself you hide here, seek them, speak to them, and love them. Even when others are afraid to. Remember that the word "Alone" is actually based off of the previous meaning of "All One". Peace and Love

Your voice is so soothing. I understand you, being an 8th houser is like living dead and alive, constantly dying and snapping back into reality. Having to pretend to be okay and empathizing with others even when its known that it wouldn’t be reciprocated. It makes life more beautiful on the good days. My 8th house is placed in my moon, mercury, mars, venus, neptune, uranus.

Being witness to so many worlds each time you go under, and no one to tell it to. You start to feel crazy because even if you meet people like you, the only one who’s seen it and felt it so clearly is yourself. Having an 8th house stellium is like being forced to stand alone even when you do desperately want to go in with somebody. We’re being held to the test, to see how much we can withstand alone. Only miscellaneous encounters in the night, and those are people who are just as ghostly as you.
But even then you don’t get to remember them, you have to cling onto those little memories every time you’re faced with the real world or terrible moments. It’s the secret little thing you go back to.
I think it’s beautiful, but I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t fucking tragic. I love 8th house placements, but it’s like you have to live as something other than human each time. The only reprieve is in quiet fantasies, where you have no one to dismiss the intensity of it all.
A lot of us don’t get to live easy lives, or lives supported by others. We don’t get to exist as normal humans. I think It’s easy to have resentment against this stellium and your own energy if you don’t educate yourself enough, but regardless of your level of education on your stellium?? I have empathy for you.
It’s completely fine to feel like that.
Also for a lot of 8th house placements, sexuality is imbedded with our being, it’s an essential part of our identity because of the sheer magnitude it has in terms of energy. It’s very impactful, and powerful.
It’s apart of our every day lives, so it’s nice to hear you talk about how we perceive it as 8th housers. I feel like I can let out a long held breath 💗💗😭
I also feel like our deeper whole will never be understood by others until after our death, because a lot of these people are so afraid to dip into these blurry waters when we’re living.
OH AND ESPECIALLY?? It’s terrible for us to act as if we don’t live in deep waters, if we try to paddle on the surface to reach others, we’ll end up burning ourselves out in the effort. Like she said, just stay under. Stop reaching for people, wait for them to finally have the guts to reach you. And even if the day doesn’t come that anyone reaches, at least you can say you knew yourself. Every part of you, the darkest parts. A lot of people go out of this world not being able to say the same thing.

Love love love your interpretation of the 8th house. Being an 8th house person is honestly terrifying! Before finding astrology I felt like no one understood me. My parents discouraged things I found interest in from a young age and I was often told not to be so “emotional” uhm excuse me!? I have an 8th house stellium in Gemini (sun, moon, Venus and Lilith). Life has really been though, only finding out I have adhd at 26, being a middle child and going through so many toxic relationships, I have been through the ringer. Wow I relate to nearly everything you said. I finally felt like someone read me. I'm a loner misfit. I have moon, Uranus and Neptune all in the 8th house. People think I'm stupid and try to take advantage of me. I have Neptune squaring sun, and moon squaring mars so I find it hard to assert myself. Neptune in 8th represents boundaries violations. I must protect myself. I've been abused in the pass. But I'm learning to listen to my emotions and heal. Growing up I was emotionally neglected and felt shut down when I voiced my opinions. Btw 8th house 8s in Aquarius so I come across detached and unemotional, but I'm the opposite.

Yep. I got that 8th House Taurus Stellium, which is quite the duzy. Sun, Jupiter, Saturn, and Mars. Libra Ascendant.
I feel pressured to push it all down and just be my quintessential Taurus self and just push through it all.. but the fact is- there are no simple, easy answers. No simple routines I can follow and no simple guides I can follow that promise stability. Like you, I get projected onto constantly and nobody really understands how I feel or why I feel I must do what I do- but slowly, I am learning that there is I cant just push the darkness down.

Sis I’m a 8th house stellium too (Sun, Mercury, Uranus). I wish I knew you personally I’ve had similar stories my parents used to always say I was being dramatic when I would express so I subconsciously repressed any negative emotion I would experience because of fear. I’m a 8th house stelluim, I have my sun, Venus, Mercury and Saturn in the 8th house. The part you said around 18:05 about understanding emotions and people would laugh at you and not understand why you felt a certain way made me tear up. I’ve pretty much felt misunderstood my entire life and I’ve felt way too emotional, I’d lock myself in my room and cry. Even when I was a kid I would hide in my cupboard and cry so my parents didn’t see me cry. I just wanted to thank you so much for making this video. I truly hope you see this comment and realise that there are people who feel the same way and I’m hoping to pick up my own bad habits and really try to connect with people who understand me on a deeper level.

I laid here listening to you speak and can relate so deeply. I have an eighth house stellium and a scorpio Moon and have spent my entire life helping others transform them self sexually and come to terms with their sexuality and I feel like it’s my gift to the world even when it feels like a curse. I allow people to transcend them-self and turn into a happier more sexually open version of them-self which is amazing but we are often just the transformative part and never the final product. We’re always stuck in the state of change and never being complete.

Another 8th house stellium here (Sun, Mercury, Mars, Uranus, Neptune, Juno, and Vertex). Pluto also touches my Sun, Moon, Uranus and Ascendant. Damn this energy can be overwhelming at times, but I’ve gotten better at accepting and expressing it over time.

I feel you there. I actually just recently started opening up about my anxiety. Childhood regression hypnosis on YT has helped me release a lot of the crappy things that happened to younger me, so that the me I am now can move forward with less stress. I am still very selective about what I share and with who and honestly it's pretty necessary with how parasitic some people can be. First of all thank you very much for this well spoken video about the topic of being an 8th houser. It is an intense and difficult stellium indeed.
I have Moon, Mars and Uranus in the 8th + Jupiter stationary direct in the 9th. So the energy is kinda similar to yours, but in different signs though.
I am glad that there are people out there who have similar placements in their birth chart who feel similar intense feelings as I do. It also felt good to me listening to you opening up to some extent and share what you feel based on your experience with that stellium. Most of the time I read about the 8th house that it deals with shared ressources but what many websites don't mention is that feelings is a ressource as well. I felt so understood when you said that it scares people off when we share our feelings, but most of them don't want to hear about it so it feels for an 8th houser as an erupting volcano or a tornado inside. But THE downfall about the 8th house stellium for me is, that I feel the feelings of others intensely without them expressing them. Even though I am aware what feelings are mine and what belongs to others, I am so glad when I am able to be alone so I can be just with my own feelings, so no feelings of other people penetrate my heart and poison me to the core. Trust is key!
