That bag is lovely, It looks so strong and sturdy like it will last a long time. Unfortunately my machine (a Singer) will not sew over any thickness.. Two folds maybe but more than that and it is stuck. The needle is stuck and the machine jams right up. I need a new one I think.

This is a nice bag. I like it. But in order for it to be "perfect" for me, it needs more pockets. I would have added another pocket on the other side of the bag, and one or two pockets inside. When using a bag, a pocket on the inside makes it easier to find small things like keys.And I have a question: how many inches or centimeters long is the zipper you used?
I agree with what you said. It is indeed better to have pockets inside. Feel free to add pockets if you're going to make this. I am looking for this bag to measure the length of the zipper but I can't find it. Sorry for that. Well, I used a zipper that is slightly longer than the length of the bag.
