I was 5 years old when I saw this film with my sister who was 2, because our parents had taken us to see it, and we really loved it, and it was actually our first Pixar film that we saw in the theater, and this was sparked my love for Pixar! Also in 8:17 - 10:07 that has to be Melissa Disney voicing over that trailer! If I hear a voice that sounds like an adult Ginger Foutley, I know it's her!
@@Jurassic1993Park I see. But why couldn't Industrial Light & Magic provide the animation for Disney computer animated movies? Were they just too complicated at all?
@@samwhitacre ...because Disney and Pixar have their own animation studios to accomplish just that? They don't need ILM because ILM is a VFX/CG company that mainly does work for live-action media. Pixar only partnered with them to handle the live-action portions because Andrew Stanton wanted to have a clear depiction between the past humans in the movie and what they had become in the Axiom. It was a stylistic choice. And again, Pixar and Disney's animation studios exist for a reason, so why would they leave all their work for an outside company to handle when it would be mindboggingly counterintuitive to the creation of their studios in the first place? I'm confused as to why you're perplexed by such a simple notion.

One question please. In the movie, WALL-E, did Industrial Light & Magic provide the animation or visual effects?
They provided the visual effects for the live-action shots: everything with the late Fred Willard and the Buy n Large commercials.
