I think flugel is not really powerfull like Reid. I think he is like Subaru he use his brain more and i think he have powerfull power like Subaru return by dead and Al time rewind so that even shaula say he can even kill her.
This makes me really want to reread arc 6 as after watching this it really made me feel bad for Shaula, Volcanica and Reid and while I always felt bad for Shaula I never did for the other two. Also the impression I got of Reid was of a general bad person but this kinda changed that so if I do reread it he may become one of my favourites!
While Reid may have acted as a real douche and asshole for the majority of the story, in the final chapters he started to showcase some of his finer traits and especially during his duel against Julius when he actually considered him as a opponent. However it's also pretty easy to forget that he wasn't always this way and that he eventually grew out of that phase and assumingly gained some humilty thanks to his time with Flugel who he considered as a friend and I didn't properly get a chance realize this before watching the video but Flugel's departure must have really shaken not just Shaula, but Reid and Volcanica seeing how they never met again and most likely left in bad terms.
I am not sure if I should like Reid or not. On one side he’s a womanizing asshole but he also has a really cool and human side to him like his friendship with Flugel. Like it’s difficult. With a character like Hankiel I can clearly like them for the good person that they are but Reid is unique with this, since his actual personality is rotten
I doubt any of those "heroes" are getting redeemed, I mean we literally have an entire arc where Julius has to confront the roots of the kingdom which made him a knight being totally rotten. If you read the Joshua side stories this is even more of a built up arc for him. He ends up embracing his identity as a knight in his defiance against losing his name because even if the heroes don't live up to their legends, Julius is treated as the embodiment of knighthood so it was never really about being recognised as such by the kingdom but defining himself as such regardless, even with his uncertain family background as well. All of that is massively undermined in importance if the heroes were simply good all along.
