How you say specifically that the refraction is only because of sugar concentration as fruits contain so many other components

very useful but I need to ask you which liquid is the best for calibration deionised water, plain tap water ,or destiled water or it dosen't matter for correct reading and maintanance

.not positive but distilled as other waters, like tape have solids in it…as for deionized, I don’t know right off but I would guess that using restructured water might give, possibly, a n even more precise reading (but just guessing)

Crush it / use a garlic crusher, then put the sap on the glass pane. You will not get a distinct, solid line, just take a half way readings between solid white and solid blue
