So much green it reminds me of years ago. Back when I was happy. And when I spent time with friends on creeks and rivers. And getting scared by snakes. Beautiful. THe moss the rocks the creeks.
The world... our world... is an amazing place. Keep in your heart the curiosity and wonder of nature. The wish that something beyond will be something worth finding.
I've walked Negro creek many times down to the river. Nice spot for camping at the mouth of the creek .Pretty Country the area is and I like kayaking the little stretch between Yamacraw and Alum . No way I would leave my car at Yamacraw Bridge . Cool Video .
Hello, great video here. I am making a trip to this park in end of April. I am not from the area about a 9hr drive. I will be solo hiking for 2 day, then with a group for a couple more days. Any suggestions for places that should hike/camp? start points ect...?
You may want to hike a portion of the Sheltowee Trail that runs through DBNF from Morehead, KY down into TN. There are no loops for Sheltowee, so you could use your group meet to get you back to your vehicle. Maybe hike through the Red River Gorge area? Be very cautious of where you park. This area is very poor and car break-ins are common. Another resource to ask questions and learn more about area is the forum at www.kywilderness.com , or call DBNF rangers. Hope you have a great time!

I used to play in creeks with my friend. IT was an adventure. Running around. Through forest creek and corn field. All in the heat of summer or fall.
I absolutely love this video and just want to thank you for sharing. This is the town I use to live. Brings back memories of my childhood.
I enjoyed this. A good departure from the video selfies where little time is devoted to sharing the sights with the viewer.
Nice! Wow, you were there when Yahoo Falls hardly had any water coming over it.

Did you park at yamacraw or get shuttled? Going to be doing this shortly and didn't think about the parking.
Silly question but you did this counter clockwise?
Actually I think we hiked clock-wise once we followed the connector trail from the road.
