Might I add lang since I forgot to mention at the later part of the video who's at fault sa nangyari. Before that, ang nagbook nito was my friend. Long time friend from car club days over 12 years ago na siguro kami huling nagkita, we realized it only after nagmessage sya sa akin asking questions about car camping which I willingly obliged as some of you may know. Anyway, we wanted to meet up and car camp this time. He planned this trip to Gulugod Baboy, and supposedly the day before yung date namin but we were advised then by our contact na hindi kaya kasi maulan daw at basa yung daan mahihirapan yung sasakyan. So we postponed for one day. The next day as I was told tuloy na daw, ok na ang panahon. Supposedly Friday kami, natuloy on a Saturday so mag inagahan namin to make sure we get the best spot. Anyway, I feel we should have been told by our contact before hand about the situation before we proceeded. I'm sure he know kung mapapadaanan ba yung kalsada or hindi, but as I was told nag-ok lang sya na pumunta kami only to find out hindi pala papadaanan nung isang property owner yung lot nya which is the only access to our contact's car camping site.
Also, might I add that what I said about the property owner na humarang sa amin was merely my impression based on our conversation. Regardless, as I have stated in the video we did not insist because at the end of the day it was his property and he's a local in the area. When going camping WE SHOULD ALWAYS RESPECT THE WILL of the locals to avoid any untoward incidents.

Hello Kim, 👋🏼 HighAltitude brand nya but O would not recommend it. Hindi nya masyado nadedeflect yung init ng araw.. I got this just recently, a bit expensive pero very happy with the quality and great shelter under the sun kahit tanghali. 👍🏼

Naakyat ko yung GB back in 2012, steep ascend it’s dubbed as the mini Akiki by mountaineers before. Ngayon may parking na sa taas short hike nalang to camp. Used to take us 2hrs 😅 Ganda nga sa summit! 👍🏼 Anyway hope the tarp info is helpful. ❤️⛺️

Hello Din, 👋🏼 I would say safe na safe ka sa lugar. Upon entry from regustration area ni Villa Escudero dadaan ka ng tatlo security outpost lahat sila aware na papasok ka and that you’re kn your way to camp. They will assist. The campsite itself also may guard on duty. 👍🏼 Salamat sa suporta sir. 🙏🏼

I don’t see GB as a family friendly campsite. Of course you can get lucky sa weather pero if the opposite naman mahirap kasi you’re very much exposed to the elements.. Try Driftwoods Action Park or Camp Spotted-wood in Laguna.. 👍🏼
@@mike_penaranda thank you sa suggestion sir, gusto ko kasi ma-experience ng anak ko what its like camping in the mountain, ive been in GB several times before, it may not be ideal for family camping pero tama po kayo, if given a good weather, napakaganda kasi ng view sa GB. we camped once in mt talamitam before and the kid enjoyed it and wanted more.: )

Great content po sir. Sometimes I don't blame the property owners restricting the use of the right of way section during wet season. The camp guide should have communicated in the first place. Nakaka awa mga tao sa barangay kung ginagawang off roading lalo tag ulan kahit sabihin na tax payer sila. Pede siguro kung private grounds. More power sa channel mo sir.
Yes I failed to mention that point, dapat nasabihan kami before hand na hindi lang dahil sa basang lupa baka hindi kami makapunta ng campsite kundi may property owner mismo na hindi nagpapadaan kung basa ang lupa. Anyway thank you for the support, Chris.. 🙏🏼

its nice to watch and experience people getting off grid life for a while.away from urban life.. pero mukhang naging pointless nung nanuod sya ng youtube, kasi most of the campers use cellphones for map directions ,photos and videos for their outdoor experience.
Good morning, Sir. 👋🏼 I just wanted to show na yun yung isa sa mga hilig ko. I went camping and missed qualifying that night, I’ve been following F1 since 2009 - hiking and camping back in 2011 and just recently car camping. Point is, ito yung mga hilig ko - plus making these videos I enjoy editing them. Being off-grid doesn’t mean you can’t have your simple pleasures, it’s part of a person’s relaxation. Doesn’t render the whole experience as pointless, that’s subjective - nasa tao na yun. 🙂 Some even go camp and bring a projector to watch a movie, kasi yun yung relaxation nila watching movies. While some totally disconnect kasi yun yung gusto nila - does not even take videos or photos just pure immersion sa nature and that’s totally fine yun gusto nila. Anyway, I hope I got my point across. Do what makes you happy, what other people think should not matter. Have a good weekend, Sir Lino.
