Hey nick, when you have an ultimate upgrade, you can tune the engine , like adding a Turbo, adding boost , increasing rpm limit, engine tuning and torgue rpm fine tuning, hope that helps.

I do have a few tips for tunes, if you put tire adhesion to 90% the car will be slower, but it will also be a lot smoother. if you don't want to keep spinning out I would recommend turning down your Ackerman angle. for me, the sweet spot is usually 30% but it depends based off of the car. if you turn down the Ackerman enough, you will be able to hard steer in one direction on controller without counter-steering and not spin out. also, in order to have fast, but also smooth transitions, I would recommend turning you caster angle to 8.8 degrees, and the steering axis offset at 0. hope this helps😊
Bathurst is a good track nonetheless whether it's on Gran Turismo 7, iRacing, CarX Drift Racing, ACC, or even Gran Turismo SPORT. I think Bathurst is a good track in my eyes, that the league I'm in does a 1.2h of Bathurst on Gran Turismo 7.
Coming from a pro carx drifter, on your left stick to steer roll your analog stick along the top it will make you alot more smooth and use ultimate tuning always unless trying to make a grip car hoped that helped
@@Nco64This. It might sound stupid and easy street to have steering assist on but this is the only game I use anything like that. It makes controller use almost as smooth as a wheel. Instead of controlling counter steer directly, you basically counter the counter-steer with the assist on. Then that with the stick roll makes for buttery smooth drifts.

Nick, if you use controller, dont snap the controller. Just slowly to the perfect angle. That will be smoother and will give you more points.

The key to being smooth is rolling the left stick, just regularly putting the stick left and right will make the car choppy.

You gotta roll the joystick if your using a controller its way easier to control than trying to flick it back and forth like in forza etc
flicking also works it just looks like nick has no steering assist. for me its really smooth
