Ours in Mandera only knows how to build county headquarter buildings everywhere without finishing one and getting value for money. The so called county headquarter projects that lie idle on the outskirts of Mandera town are all today shells of ruins and examples of museums which should be under the management of the National Museums of Kenya (NMK). Halafu county zingine kama West Pokot and Makueni watu wao wana bahati kupata Governor's ambao ni experienced professors who know what their people want and focus on service delivery with value for the devolution funds, not looting and wastage of public funds.
@@AbdiazizHaji09 so what will we say cox the system betrayed us last election.. and as long as the so called elders exist just blieve me we wont reach far... that ideology and corupt mind of elders will make us among the marginalised county in kenya on this error of devolution.
@Mwaniki Mwaniki over the past 7 years 2013 to 2019 the current ongoing year, we have got close to 70 billion in devolution funds plus donor grants and yet ukienda Mandera County hautaona hata 5 billion inaonekana kwa ground in form of projects whose values TOI can assess. Our resources have been looted by our own and no more shall our people of Mandera County cry about being marginalized by the successive regimes in Nairobi. The narrative of marginalization is over, we are now going through a painful tale of self marginalization where our own leader are looting our public funds and doing a capital flight "investments" in Nairobi.
