Thanks for the mini show and all the effort you put in. I like the way we seem to pick players that have already had their first loan rather than one straight out a the youth team/reserves at another club.
Thanks Michael! The dashboard works!
Great little show keep ‘em coming
Thanks Andy! 👀
Always insightful. Thanks.
Thanks Matthew!
Do you agree with our 5⃣striker targets, or do you have others in mind? Let us know below! 👇
These options from best to worst in my opinion:
1. Divin Mubama
2. Michael Obafemi
3. Jay Stansfield
4. Will Keane
5. Colby Bishop
Any striker that Ipswich sign I would prefer it to be a buy instead of a loan deal because we are short in depth in the striker department.
Great video Rich. Insightful as ever
Thanks Reece! Jacob Powley did the research for it!
@@BlueMondayITFC Great stuff, I honestly didn't even see Will Keane as an option but would certainly fit the role needed 👍🔵⚪️

Love it Alex!! #COYB
I haven't seen Mubama or Obamfemi, but I like the look of Stansfield. I also genuinely enjoyed having Keane at Town the first time around (Will, not Roy). Thought his link-up play was intelligent and was a decent target man for us in a pretty poor team. Not sure about taking prolific lower-league strikers these days. Maybe it's because the word "Bishop" sounds a bit like "Pigott"? 🤣 Cheers.
Considering 6 foot 3 Hirst is so important to our playstyle, I'd hope that McKenna and co have a shortlist of strikers of a similar profile.
The West Ham kid looks really good, the others are too short for the number 9 (considering we'll be playing against a low block a lot), Will Keane isn't any better than Ladapo - and he's too injury prone.
Did someone leave a hose on against Leicester? Can't believe we've lost our number 9 cause of that...
I like the look of Miles Leaburn at Charlton. Has very similar attitudes to Hirst and given Charlton off field issues combined with his age would fit the profile of young player we can develop.
Not sure a development player fits the bill for January does it? Also, Leaburn has had some significant injury issues?
@@BlueMondayITFC Apart from Keane and Bishop.. I would have the other 3 down as development that you have put forward. Injuries record maybe a concern. But would point to Lunogo and Tuanzabe to counter that. Maybe we could bring in a Keane or Bishop as well so we cover all bases
Callum Marshall would be great. Shankland would be unreal.
Interesting shout. Doing very well in PL2 isn’t he?
@@jacobpowley1841 19 goals in 13 apps for West Ham U21. Banging the ball that Irish lad is
Hi Rich, can you tell me what music you have used for the background in this vid please? - thanks! :)

Oh super thank you very much! :)@@BlueMondayITFC
Ellis Simms. think mentioned b4 and godden although maybe too old from Coventry think been mentioned but not my choices
Was a target in the summer of course. Would such a move would be in Coventry's interest?
How about Lawrence Shankland of Hearts or is he out of our price range and would he come to the championship
We'll put it to Jacob! Think the fee may be an issue - plus there will be interest from others, not least the big 2 in Scotland.
Great goalscorer but would cost a high fee. He’s played all of his career (except for one year) in Scotland anyway, so I wonder if he might not fancy a move to England anyway
WE HAVE THE MONEY BUT DONT WONT TO GO CRAZY OVER SPEND 🚜🚜🚜🔵🔵⚪️⚪️
What
@David-bs6fq over spend on a player only to bottle it not go up 🔵🔵⚪️⚪️🚜🚜🚜🚜🚜🚜🚜🚜🚜🚜🚜🚜🚜🚜🚜🚜
Your right we definitely have the money
What if kieffer moore came back and we had a full welsh front 3? That would be pretty epic
He could do the physical stuff in possession and would give us aerial threat but I don’t think he’d give us enough off the ball or technically.
🏴!!
Not sure he fits the typical age profile of our targets under Gamechanger?
Could we look abroad?
Potentially - but would need the network in place first. Bit risky for us in January isn't it?
I’m not sure we’ll have scouted abroad thoroughly enough. They only changed the visa rules in the summer and they were previously very strict so I doubt we’d have given it too much thought before then.
I’d love us to look abroad if we have the network in place though. Great value to be had.
@@jacobpowley1841 I'm sure they have thought about it in depth, but maybe they are not far enough along in implementation of the plans.
I’d take a punt on bishop and get stansfield on loan I’d be very happy with those two
You love all the transfer gossip, don’t you Rich?!
😆
Will Keane, no thanks!! Michael Smith of Sheff Weds is someone who would fit the bill.
Two years older than Keane, with less goals and assists this season too...
Keane’s a better player than his previous spell here and would be playing under a competent manager. When he’s stayed fit in the last couple of seasons he’s been a decent championship striker, which is a level Smith hasn’t reached.
Keane’s got better technical attributes too. Not convinced by Smith unfortunately.
Will Keane , are you living in the past?
Any suggestions instead?
Mbappe on a free
Is Kieffer Moore not on the radar?
Maybe - but the profile of our signings in the Gamechanger era *tend* to be 25 or younger. That would exclude Moore...
Not sure he does the off the ball stuff well enough for what McKenna wants. He’ll go somewhere else and do well though.
Devante Cole?
Think we've probably moved beyond most L1 targets? Jacob and Rich only included Bishop as he's a long-term target.
Yeah I understand, he is a bit older than the players we target under KM as well. I'm just really struggling to see anyone who has a similar game to Hirst who fits all the criteria and is available. Cole at least can play a similar role (lone striker) has a decent enough scoring record, although not prolific but has been in some average, perhaps more defensively minded sides. As a stop gap might be worth a punt. Personally I would like to see 2 strikers come in this window.
Unless McKenna tweaks the system I think we are going to fall off massively relying on Jackson and Ladapo to play that role. I would love to be proved wrong. In McKenna we trust though and we have overachieved this season and I think some town fans need to remember this.
Ronaldo
Which one Darren!?
Obafemi is a decent player at this level but his attitude stinks. I have family in South Wales and he couldn't wait to leave Swansea even though they took him on when Southampton released him and made him the player he is. His farewell Twitter messages did not go down well with the fan base.
I wouldn't mind whittaker at plymouth he is going nowhere with them
Big fee surely? He clearly likes it down there too.

Like your ambition!! 💪
