The Victorian form of English is the most original one, i definitely admire that. I got to get influenced only by taking professional American calls when it comes to the american accent. Now a days i speaking like an Arab guy. Well accent is everywhere but the focus must be on learning and speaking new words if you want be a great english speaker.
Besides all of that it's good that you learnt by influence and in a more closer and relatable way. As some one studied journalism I would recommend you to watch a lot of CBN news as well the flow and the dream can come true for you.

Hi there our English mmg xBritish English, BI kita mmg mcm Malaysian style punya. I berada di Australia dpt scholar dari Malaysian gov utk belajar masters selepas graduation dah dpt kerja di sini dgn gaji yg baik so I prefer kerja di Australia. Baru je tau kita punya BI ada byk impact dlm BM pronouncatin pun sama dengan BM. Contoh I can say data is pronounced as dae-ta. But we pronounce it as malay style da-ta. Pada pendapat saya British accents xsusah as Bee said jika berada di UK dlm kawasan orang putih confirm blh tau accents mereka I pun cara ini je belajar accent di Australia.
