Question: is there a reason you don’t use the gym on campus? Is it just not convenient for you since you don’t live in a dorm?
I went to UA and I know when I was there going to the gym on campus was a PAIN. You couldn't park there if you didn't have the right parking pass (most people didn't). There were a handful of spots you could pay and park but they were almost always full so it just made more sense to go somewhere else if you lived off campus (which almost everyone does after freshman year)!
@@4everAFIfan I completely understand! I went to a smaller university so it was easier, but still not convenient when you lived off campus. I can’t imagine how difficult it is at Bama!

As someone who goes to the gym and lifts weights regularly, don't be nervous about the guys there. I know it's easier said than done but most of them don't have great form either. And unless you're doing something REALLY unsafe, people tend to ignore you there because they're too focused on themselves and how they look. But if it really bothers you, it might be better to start in a smaller gym or go in 'off hours' to help you build a little confidence without as big of a crowd.

@@essayprincecom227 I actually didn't go to college. I went to a vocational school my junior and senior year in high school I studied welding. But I'm a Field technician now for a company.

Those high caffeine drinks you always have are sooooo bad for you. I'm surprised you're not having palpitations or are super jittery. Why not just plain orange juice or Ocean Spray or something. Instead of using those as your energy source, try eating 3 solid meals daily. It seems as though you forget to eat a lot, or just substitute those protein bars or whatever for your food. You'd be surprised at how better you would probably feel.
